BlueSpot 01529 29 PCE Torx Socket & Bit Set

I carry our car maintenance on a 'as needed basis' and when I bought my current car found that it used Torx fasteners in lots of places and so bought this Blue Spot Torx Socket set.I have used the Torx sockets on to do various jobs and have been very impressed. In some cases I have needed to apply a good bit of torque and the sockets have stuck to the task and managed to get the bolt out without damage either to itself or the fastener.The socket set's plastic box is also very robust, keeping the sockets together and safe.Although I am sure that their are highter quality socket sets available this offers very good value for money and is robust enough for all but the most challenging tasks.

I purchased this set so that I could remove the driver's seat from my car. I wasn't expecting much (given the low price) but this socket set has surpassed my expectations. It seems really quite robust, the bits fit snugly to my drive handle and they easily supplied the 50Nm of torque I required, without slipping.Whilst I don't anticipate using this set very often, it looks like it will last for a fair while.All in all, a sound purchase.

After ordering this set I read in some of the reviews that some people thought it was cheaply made and started to worry I had made a bad purchase!When it arrived I quickly realised that it was a well made set and stated to dismantle the Land Rover door, which was the reason I ordered it. Happy days!Yes it does come in a molded plastic case, but what else do you expect. This will give years of service, providing I don't loose bits as is usually the case. :-)

These torx look the part,well presented but not high quality tools. T40 snapped first time I used it. Good for light use but not for automotive use.

Franchement, c'est royal ! J'ai dû me lancer dans le remplacement de mon embrayage, et ce kit a été un allié de taille.La qualité est là. On sent que c'est du solide, et chaque pièce s'adapte parfaitement. Pas de mauvaise surprise, pas de jeu dans les emmanchements, juste du matériel fiable qui fait ce qu'on attend de lui.En plus, l'import de Grande-Bretagne m'avait un peu fait peur au niveau des délais de livraison, mais même ça, c'était nickel. Arrivé rapidement, bien emballé, aucun souci de ce côté-là
