sturdy robust addition to a tool kit

This is great if you only have one job to do and are not going to need to use it on a regular basis. I only needed it to cut the beading to go around a couple of windows in an old wooden door and frame. It's cheap enough to use for one job and that's it. The main problem is as it's plastic over repeated use the slots start to wear and it slowly becomes less accurate.

It's fine for short term use and not too expensive either but this tool will not last if used regularly as it's only hollow plastic. Having said that it done the job perfectly for some pipe cutting and it was accurate enough for general use. Just don't expect it to last for years of use. Overall I would say it's okay for individual projects or if used infrequently.

I love this product, one of the best do it yourself inventions to arrive to this market. I being a bit naive used to cut timber and other products the hard way and my edges and lines always looked poor and off. I have been using my mitre box since buying it for cutting down my floor edging and making sure the angles are perfect. This is so good at that and my edging on the corners are perfect after using this, it is so simple to use and really cheap. I am ashamed I did not use one sooner in my life!I am not a professional reviewer but I do try to be as honest and truthful as I can be with products, if there is any way I can improve my reviews please feel free to comment or let me know one way or another.

Worked well and good price

We used this guide to mitre some beading. It served its purpose and cut the joints very accurately.The only downside was that the item when in less than expert hands seemed to be a bit fragile.For our small job it worked perfectly, but for a large job I have doubts about the guides longevity.

Hallo,habe die Gehrungslade gekauft, damit ich saubere Schnitte an Sockelleisten hinbekomme.Nun - schon mit dem bloßen Auge sieht man, daß die Führungsschlitze nicht 90° zur Basis verlaufen, und so ein schiefer Schnitt zustande kommt.Die Gradabweichung habe ich nicht genau ermittelt, aber auf die gesamte Höhe der Gehrungslade macht das knapp einen Millimeter aus. Hallo??? Da kann man auch gleich auf Sicht schaffen.Schade eigentlich, weil die Lade ansonsten einen super Eindruck macht. Nicht zu dünn, nicht zu dick, nicht verzogen, wertige Haptik usw.. Mir erschließt sich nicht, wie man so ein Schrott-Spritzgußwerkzeug herstellen kann, daß die Führungen nicht taugen. Den Hersteller zu kontaktieren ist eine Odyssee, also habe ich`s sein lassen.

Bereits2013 wurde auf schiefe Führungsschlitze hingewiesen. 90° zu sägen ist immer noch Utopie! Geht postwendend zurück.
