Exactly what I was looking for. Not too big to get in the way when walking, yet large enough to finger the beads easily and know when I have reached the end of a decade. The rosary is light and comfortable and is also inexpensive enough to replace, if I misplace it, break it or give it away. Unraveling is the only reason for the 4 rating. One of the two rosaries began to unravel in two places. I fixed that problem by tying off the ends of the string (for lack of a better word) on which the beads are strung.

These are very simple and quite practical rosary beads. I really like them. I love that they are tightly woven and very sturdy. I have friends whose rosary beads have broken and they've been through a bunch of different ones. I love the strength of these. If I had a criticism, it would be that there is no center bead, where the rosary comes together between the cross and both sides of the decades. It doesn't bother me cuz I can get past it, but it might bother others who are used to having a coin or embellishment there and would expect or really want that. The crosses are a really nice carved wood, fairly thick.

Bought for my boyfriend... I didn't like how bold Jesus is on this rosary. It's in gold which just isn't appealing to me.. It's good size and feels sturdy. Not a fan of the rope texture that keeps beads together.. Also my shipping was delayed due to something in processing so that was a little annoying..Update: after 2months the rope started to undo

Honestly, I THOUGHT I was going to be disappointed BUT I was WRONG.. I couldn't believe it was 2 for the price of one for this cheap.. I got these for my 2 1/2yr old bc he will be in a fashion show Saturday & glad I did. A little long but still looks great with his outfits.. I would definitely recommend !!
