Top Cat: The Movie [DVD]

The 3D version is magically entertaining. The characters are presented as 2D pieces placed in various positions onto a marvelously rich 3D background. Although I'd think this might be gimmicky and distractive, it works. Thus one has the classic feel of the Top Cat cartoons upgraded into a wonderfully constructed 3D environment: with good reach out of the screen, excellent depth, and fine resolution. I had to stop several times and watch it in several helpings as it was so delicious. The story is unexpectedly sophisticated while still appealing to little kids. Viewed on a large wall screen in 3D with full surround sound it's an immersive experience. This takes an honored place in one of the "best of the best" of my extensive 3D blu ray collection. To all those involved in making this product I say: "Bravo!"

I loved this film, watched it multiple times. Underrated classic

Top cat is a american cartoon character from the 1950's. And here we get a animated feature of him. IN 3d no less. Is it high art? no, is it terrible? no, is it fun? SURE. It's a good little film and I was glad to add it to my 3d collection.

Bought for my son, who is autistic and loves watching disney and disney-type films. Can't comment on what the film is like as, part of his autism, he will not allow anyone in the room with him to watch. The few times he has relented we are subject to a running commentary of his version of what the film is about, with names of people he knows substituted for the characters in the film.It makes it very hard to watch anything any know what the heck is actually going on! Like a really badly dubbed film!!All I can say is the film works, the quality looks good, from what I can and my son really enjoys it.

My kid loves watching Top Cat and so when I saw they had a new movie I had to get it for him. As a parent remembering the old Top Cat I felt it didn't live up to the same standard. But the kids loved it so if your getting it for a child then buy it. I found this great value for money as you received 3 different formats for a great cheap price. Not yet watched it in 3d but on blu-ray it looked very clear

Love Top cat the movie, well worth a watch and have been a fan for many years.

Prompt delivery, and well packed. I haven't actually watched the film yet, but am anticipating that it will be good and will bring back lots of memories of my youth.
