Yes you can use this on lips. I use this on all high exposure areas on face

Q: Does this leave a white cast?

I personally didn't enjoy it at all. I bought it because the main SPF I use is badly stinging my eyes, so this one is mineral and perfect for them. My skin is also dry, and rubbing this on it makes it hard and unconfortable. It does not leave a white cast, but it is a little bit tinted. It looks like you applied a light foundation. Because of this, even if I apply a moisturizer before, it collects in the crease line and in the fine lines I have under the eyes, and it looks bad. I always have to wipe those areas. So yes, I stopped using this product for these 3 reasons: hard to apply because it is a dry stick, it is a little bit tinted and it collects in all the fine lines you have around the eyes. This is a total no-no for me and thankfully I found a hydrating SPF cream that is totally harmless for me eyes.
