Green Jem Metal Chicken Garden Decoration

My wife loved this part of her birthday present. It is very colorful and lovely to look at. It's sturdy enough and I think the colors will last, but I will take inSide in the worst of the winter weather. It's best to use a tent peg to keep them upright or put them in a sheltered place.

My wife always wanted to keep chickens, but real chickens need a lot of looking after and not readily accommodated in a typical home.These are really very lifelike and full size models and I am very impressed.The are well painted to inhibit rusting, but how well they would last outside in the weather I don't know, but expect this will stay in our conservatory with our other metal models, mostly cats.Bought through forestfox_trading, the main concern was that the packaging. It was covered in bubble wrap, but otherwise quite poor and arrived with the box split open, so I had to check the chicken was not damaged before accepting it.Now repackaged ready for Christmas.

Present for my wife. She loves hens. Well made and super colours. Brightens up our kitchen.

Good quality, looks good with the cockerel though not sure if its plumage should really be so similar. They make a smart pair. Pity she doesn't lay eggs!
