Growing Success Advanced Slug Killer, 575 g

Arrived promptly and was well wrapped. I have used this product for over a year and like the fact that its organic and pet & wildlife friendly.My only complaint is that it used to come with a fitting (a top with a small hole) in the container which stops too much of the product coming out when its shaken over the garden. The latest container did not have this, no doubt to increase usage of the product, as without this fitting it is hard to control how many pellets come out. I took the fitting off my last container and fitted into the top of the new one. Other than this I have no complaints.It is an expensive product and a similar product can be bought at a cheaper price from Wilko. However, I would recommend this product.

These have been amazingly effective. Having tried beer traps, sticky tape and similar low tech solutions to slugs eating my runner beans, I decided to try a chemical approach. I opted for these as being OK for cats & other wildlife. Had to estimate the recommended quantity - seemed a very meagre scattering on the soil. The blue pellets were visible for several days, but gradually disappeared and I have not had any slug damage since putting them down. So I now have a huge quantity of effective slug pellets which will last for years!

I've used this product for three years now An will never use another! That's how effective this product is. Easy to spread an I find the animals birds and my pets show zero interest in the pellets. It works on snails too.I've tried other products An watch the cheeky slugs just cross it. This they actually eat An feel full before they get to ur plants they bury underground to die. No carcass clean up. Winner!

I used this product last summer, when I was overrun with slugs and found that it helped quite a lot . As a result I have bought it again thisyear but, at the moment I am very pleased to say I have not had to use it. Could this be the result of last years treatment or is it just tooearly in the year ? Pleased I have it to hand just in case and would suggest that anyone with a slug problem would do well to give it a try.Good Supplier and very prompt.

This product seems to do the trick at keeping slugs at bay; however, the pellets do seem to rot down very quickly and seem to grow mold very quickly when they get wet? I think the main selling point for me is that they are approved for organic farming, so I can't benchmark against conventional pellets as I don't use them.I do like the product as it seems to have helped; however I am a little dubious about the longevity of the product as the pellets rot down very quickly and as I've said, seem to turn into balls of mold when they get wet... these pellets only lasted 2 weeks or so... Try it and see if you like it. I would be more tempted to apply sparsely in future though just to make the tube last longer.

This is great stuff! REALLY works and well, which frankly, is quite unusual for an 'eco-friendly' solution. There really are NO MORE EXCUSES for using the more-usual metaldehyde based slug killers, which kills all the slug predators as well! Please stop using metaldehyde-based products, they are killing our wildlife!!!

Excellent product and worked first time I used it. You could say an overnight success. The garden was overrun by slugs and I would wake up to silver paving in the back garden. So now it is all clear no slug trails anywhere. So a success I am so pleased.

Good safety lid but this can sometimes be a bit temperamental to put back on. Overall product is as described and has definately worked to keep the slippery suckers away from my plants outdoors.
