I was looking for a simple, leather collar that was not too bulky for my Dobermans. This has fit the bill perfectly. Well made, great quality buckles and hoops. The leather seems to be a very good quality. Very happy!

I bought this collar for my, soon to be, four year old 15" Beagle. She was still wearing her first collar from when she was a pup and it was getting pretty worn and on the last adjustment hole. The local pet store I frequent did not have a very good selection so I decided to take a chance on Amazon even though I knew going in I might need to return a few to get one that fit and/or was the quality I was looking for. Ends up the first one hit on all marks.This is a very well made leather collar and that is coming from a guy who has had many dogs in my 68 years and I have always been a leather collar person. I just like the way they look on a dog. They add a bit of class, not unlike a leather jacket on a human, and this one is no exception either. It is a fine looking collar made from high quality leather.One thing I was worried about, and the main reason I like to shop local to choose a collar, is whether or not the collar would be too heavy. Mabel, my Beagle, was the runt of the litter and even though she is a 15" Beagle, she has a light frame and not a stocky build like most Beagles. At 3/4" this collar is twice the width of her previous one and the loop and buckle are both a heavier grade as well. Still, in the end the overall weight is just about right. I would have liked to have gotten a model with a top leash loop but wanted to avoid the extra weight and glad I did. Besides, I usually put her harness on when I walk her anyway since she tends to follow her nose a lot going into bushes where I need to pull her back and prefer not to put that much stress on her neck.Anyway, long story short, this collar is very nice and I could not be more pleased with this purchase and can recommend it without hesitation.

The leather is soft and sturdy against my skin. And as a fellow goth I'm loving this beautiful dog collar!

Simple, clean, great quality. Nice REAL leather, great sizing and thickness, quality metal parts. A sturdy product with a nice clean simple appearance - exactly what I was looking for.

This is a great quality collar and looks good! But my dog (blonde coat) jumped in the pool with it on and it left a brownish ring around her neck. It eventually went away but was surprised the color came off. She was only in the pool very momentarily.

The quality seems great so far! We are very happy.

Wanted to replace a woven nylon collar that collected fur with a sturdy leather collar. I have a 145lb Great Dane. In 5 days, the leash loop (or whatever the technical name is) cut right through when Daisy went after a lizard. Zero stars on value. Zero stars on Durability. Zero stars for Sturdiness. But it would only keep the rating if I put at least One star in.

Every other collar I tried was just junk. My dog would split the plastic buckles with his teeth and presto it was ruined. I needed a high quality and durable collar that conveyed the care and love I had for my dog. I'm very pleased with the quality of leather and buckles. It's sort of an old school very sturdy leather collar with METAL buckles built to last.
