V5 Cartridge System Liquid Ink Rollerball 0.5 mm tip Single Pen with 3 Free Refills - Blue

I started using my 3d printer as a plotter and have been battling to find a decent pen to use. I found a lot of pens would damage their tips and fibre tip would just wear out. The pilot keeps up with fast movements without ink balling up on the tip. Was able to fill the cartridges myself with my own ink so that is a super bonus!!!

A very good make of pen and you get ink refills.

The pen feels good, writes smoothly and looks clean and sharp, however, it is not the same as the original disposable V5. I settled upon the original V5 as the "greatest pen in the world" when at university and needed a pen that wrote smoothly and quickly but, most importantly, didn't smudge in my awkward left-handedness. Unfortunately this refillable version fails on that last point. I will still give it 4 stars, because it does all those other things well, but i won't be buying more in other colours. I'll probably end up giving it to my wife and carrying on with the disposables. Shame really.

...and you get another pen! I like the idea of refilling my roller ball pen. Pilot is always a well made product and buying them from Amazon in the kit is cheaper than just getting the refills on their own. I pass the spare pen to a relative.

Perfect for pencil case. We were using the non-refill pens but couldn't get them at a decent price so thought we would try these. They last longer and are obviously less wastage. Great value for money.
