Worth Every Penny
It looks like teenager’s nail varnish but performs like liquid gold.I just cleaned up a 1978 AR XB1 and restored it to its NAB broadcast specification, courtesy of this little bottle of lubricant.As the tolerances of the AR bearing are very close, I was a little dubious as to whether this oil would work compared to sewing machine oil etc. It does - superbly.To test it I span the full platter and mat by hand to about 30 rpm without using the belt. It carried on spinning for over a minute and silently. Try that test with a Rega or Project.....There is enough oil in here to last a decade. Therefore it’s about £1.50 a year to protect a high grade, and hard to replace, investment.Worth it.

Great but difficult to measure without additional dropper
Good quality oil. I just wish they'd supplied a dropper with it - Linn instructions say 'add 50 drops'.

After cleaning the turntable spindle and applying the new oil, there was a definite improvement in the sound quality from the deck.

Really good bespoke product
Don't be put off by the seemingly high price. It's not cheap for a reason. Really good bespoke product., If you have a top notch turntable, it deserves the best.
