Great little stand, very sturdy, heavy
I was skeptical if this would work better than my old one, pictured next to this one, but it's so much better. Nice and heavy, which can also be a caveat if you have to lug it around in a gig bag a lot, but very nice, was never worried about tipping. My old one was fine, but I was always worried about my flute being bumped as I think it would topple right over, just too light. Then all of the rubber feet wound up coming off and one of the metal spikes got bent. So glad I didn't get the same one. This would work for a clarinet or oboe very well as well!

Works great.
I bought this because I needed something to stand the clarinet up on when I turned it into a lamp.I had to shave down the piece that goes up inside the throat to clearance the wiring I installed. Looks great, works perfectly.

Love it, love it, love it!
First off, let me say l love my husband. He bought for me a little screw together, foot extending stand for my flute. That one was not terribly sturdy and l was always a little concerned that it would get knocked over. That will NOT happen with this stand. The sturdiness of this stand means my flute will knocked be knocked over accidentally ordered otherwise. It would take a full frontal assault to knock my flute over on this stand. My one caveat is that l am going to go buy a silicone stopper to slide over the center pole so that there is not a thunk as the flute settles onto the stand. But as far as this stand, l could not be happier with it.

A good stand for my horn
Bought this for my flugelhorn whilst I switch to the trumpet. Very handy and folds up nicely.

Not a well made stand
I’ve had a similar make and model before. I’m a little leery of the bell hoop, it’s too wide and you can’t squeeze it together to wrap the bell more tightly. And the tightening screw seems to be poorly threaded. I’ll probably return this one.

Disaster
I sat my trumpet on this stand before our orchestra concert. When I picked it up to play I realized the cap had stuck in the bell of my horn and it WOULD NOT PLAY A NOTE. So horribly disappointed! Now I have to figure out how to get it out.

It’s perfect!
The stand has many things you can adjust, and it looks very nice.

Sturdy
I’m not crazy, but the little tripod stands I like the solidity of the base and it’s not that heavy. It fits in my stand case.
