Very Pleasantly Surprised!
We live in a wooded, hilly area, so that in the best of solar times, e.g., mid-summer, in many areas of our yard, the sun may grace it for 8-10 hours a day at best. We've made two previous attempts with solar landscape lighting in the past and both efforts were disappointing due, in part, to our particular landscape situation and, perhaps also to the quality of the products we purchased and/or the state of solar technology at the time. Because these particular lights were so well reviewed, it had been awhile since we explored solar lighting and the price for 8 lights was less than $40, we decided to take another solar plunge. I must say, we have been very pleasantly surprised and pleased! They are subjectively handsome, appear to be well made (using some glass and metal components is a decided plus). They are a no brainer to assemble, installation is simplicity itself and they appear to be quite sturdy. Most importantly, so far, these lights have performed in a stellar manner. I installed them at the middle of August and all 8 lights remained illuminated (with a most pleasant luminescence) for the entire night. As summer has turned into autumn and there is even less sunlight, I have, not surprisingly, found, that the lights no longer function for the entire night. They now seem to dim and extinguish around 4-5am. Two of the lights that are in complete daytime shade now operate less brightly and for shorter durations. Regardless, this is so much better than I anticipated! In fact, I was so pleased with these lights that I purchased another set of 8 in early September. They are functioning equally well. At the Autumnal Equinox, all is good! Now, when the Winter Solstice rears its head, who knows? I'm wagering that I'll remain very satisfied with my purchase. Fiat Lux!

Bright, With a Touch of Style
I liked the style of these as soon as I saw the pictures -- they have style which is closer to art deco than to late century impressionism. I knew I would enjoy the look, and that they would really enhance the outside of my home, day or night. What was questionable was a) would they throw enough lightl; b) would they actually (as claimed) light from dusk to dawn; and c) how many weeks/months/years will they last?Well, I don't have the answer to the third question yet (I've had them for about six weeks, and so far they have performed like champs). And yes, the light is more than enough while not being too bright to be annoying to the eyes at night. To complete the trifecta, they do stay lit all. night. long. Not that I got in the middle of my sleep to check on them, but I had to get up a couple of times juuuuuust shortly before dawn, and they did not seem to have lost a single lumen of intensity. The tubes supporting them are a light plastic attached to a plastic stake -- but for all the world look like a solid metal support. Super easy to install. The only tricky part is keeping them at a true vertical -- installing them with a small handheld level will help, which will also will come in handy when, once in a while (for random reasons like a neighborhood dog or a clumsy nudge with my mower) they need to be straightened up.I've wanted path lighting for a long time, and am pleased to report that I love mine -- and the price was jawdroppingly reasonable.

Bright and sturdy
I’ve tried so many electric and solar pathway lights over the years. There’s always something that isn’t quite right about them and they don’t last. I bought one set of these to try them out because of the good ratings and not only are they sturdy and stay upright, but they are nice and bright at night even when there’s cloud cover during the day. The lights don’t last all night but that is common and expected, but it’s nice and bright and long enough for, anyone who happens to be out at night to be able to see their way around. The best thing is they also look nice. We like them so much we bought a Second box and put them up in an area that needed more lighting. The second box was just as easy to set up and working just as well as the first. They’re easy to put together, sturdy, charge up quickly, and so far they have stayed upright in the ground, which is a lot more than I can say for many of the other brands that I’ve wasted money on.

Easy to install lights
I bought these lights because they have aluminum, not plastic posts so they would hold up in freezing weather better. I also liked the styling of the lights. I just got them, assembled them (quite easy) and placed them along a stone staircase outside. They are not super bright, but I placed them every 1 or 2 steps, and at that distance, they work as I intended, lighting the steps down a slope. The top lighted section is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but they still do the job.

Elegant and pleasantly bright
Surprised at the quality of the lighting and its length when the sun actually comes out. One of the lamps seems to be defective / won’t give off its full light. Bought on sale so can’t complain.

Very nice, bright, attractive lights
I've owned several versions of these types of lights over the past 14 years-ish and I love these! They are very bright, give off an attractive pattern when lit up, and they stay bright for a LONG time. If the sun sets at about 6:00 PM, they are bright until around midnight and still give off some light for a few more hours after that. I like the small, compact size and the glass globes but I sure wish they were made of metal instead of plastic. From my experience, the metal ones don't really last much longer anyway so I'll see how these do over the next couple years.

Lights are still working!!
Love these lights! We ordered them in November of 2024 and they are still working! We have had thunderstorms and snow and they still light up great. Even when it’s cloudy out, they get enough solar to power over night.

Nice it’s that work briefly
Very pretty and bright. 2 days later, 2 of the lights are dim. I am about to give up on solar lights unless they are wired.
