Fantastic service, got 2 code and they were delivered in a few seconds

Google have had a class action on gift cards as they ask for " more info " and when you submit they will decline and you can not appeal , this can be searched on the internet and the many problems around the world , the class action was in the USA as google are taking monies and not doing anything . I seen this on a so called " reputable " site that post deals , the " reputable " is debatable ! The post read over 1770 heat . So i thought save a few pounds but how wrong i was , the two codes took about 1hr then once the two codes were delivered one had hyphens between the digits and the one had none and in my experience all codes should have hyphens . So i try the first code and it stated confirm £10 which would of been correct but RED writing appeared " need more info " and the form to fill out was wanting images of the front and back of the gift card , were purchased and personal details , Second code the very same . Customers should not have to go via google for more " INFO " with info as then the end user would have to use an article 17 to remove the data My handset is a Samsung with a CSC BTU meaning factory unlocked my Gmail account was made in the UK as per Amazons T&Cs as to what countries are allowed , my VPN was off as im fully aware google can flag a VPN So i had two codes that did not work and maybe Amazon should look in to this as i believe they are and the users at the " reputable " deal site i found it on should verify the codes work rather than putting people down posting 1 star reviews on here .

Having been put off slightly by some of the reviews I decided to go ahead with the £10 card. I've been playing Microsoft Solitaire collection for many many years and finally got so fed up of the constant advert interruptions which after 30s or more watching the same unwanted advert again and again make it so difficult to avoid launching into the advertisers web site, that I decided to subscribe to the premium - ad free - version (best thing I ever did lol). The card arrived by email within a few seconds, not 30 minutes plus as experienced by other reviewers, and worked immediately to upgrade the game when the code was entered (didn't enter the hyphens between the four character code segments, just the numbers and letters). At £9.49 for the upgrade I now have £0.51 in my Google account as expected. Couldn't have been easier.

I can not believe how difficult Google make it to add funds to the play store! It appears Amazon is the best way, however, once the order was placed it took around 10 minutes before anything happened - at that point the code arrived by email and also became accessible in 'my orders' this order. Copied and paced and immediately verified. Amazon really should make it clear that there can be a delay as those 10 minutes gave me enough time to find negative reviews saying codes didn't work. Also that a VPN set to a different country could cause issues. Thankfully my code worked immediately and the funds were credited to my account. All good.

Update 3 Amazon quite correctly refunded me £10 for this latest gift card. So I thought I’d try again but with a £5 card redeemed through Activation process. Guess what, redeem card error even though this was auto completed by Activation process 🤣 Update 2 So 28 hours after purchasing gift card and reporting redeem error to Google, it is still not resolved which again suggests Google and Amazon are scamming customers Google tell me the errors are because their Security Team are carrying out checks to safeguard my account, it would appear that Google do not trust Amazon! Update 1 Against my better judgement, I purchased another £10 card today. What a surprise, error redeeming!! I am now convinced that this is underhand practice by Google in an attempt to get additional information about customers. Redeem error form cannot now be completed without a telephone number! Why do they need that unless it’s more data for snooping on us! Amazon and Google sort out this scam Previous review 3 times I’ve purchased and 2 out of 3 times Google say there is an error and refuse to accept redemption code. They then ask for more information and require a copy of the purchase info. I’ve spoken to others who have also had issues, mainly when purchasing from Amazon. Seems to me that Google have an issue with purchases from Amazon and reading reviews, Amazon are aware of this but continue to sell these and in many instances allow their customers to be “ripped off” loosing hard earned money to these big Companies.
