No longer will I have to break my back mopping my floors! This steamer is so great and works so very well. I've clean my floors with it three times and every time it gets easier because there is less dirt. Word to the wise... read the instructions! It's super easy to use the steam button is great but only needed when you have a heavily soiled floor or spot. I don't use it at all because the steam will come out even if you don't press the steam button which should be PLENTY of moisture to clean your floors. I do use the lowest setting and it gets my floors spotless! Extremely light streaking when completely dry or none at all. The more you apply the steam button, the more water is used, hence the streaking issue. It turns off buy just putting it in the upright position which is great. It's really powerful and pretty much propells itself! The steam is super hot too! It really does it's job. I'm very pleased with it.

I own a cleaning business and have been using the original Shark Steam Mops for the past 3 years. I literally love this one even more than the original; as this Steam mop has the Steam Blaster on the front of it. This saves me from having to go over the area numerous times or having to bend over and scrub it by hand. I love the fact that it cleans with steam and no harsh chemicals or cleaners as I have many of my clients on oxygen, pets, or small children. In addition, the fact it is dries in seconds is amazing, so I do not have to worry about a client falling when they are home during cleaning services. It also is great for being able to put rugs and chairs down on floors instead of having to wait for an extended period of time for floors to dry. It is safe to use on most floors that I clean including hardwood, plank flooring, laminate flooring, linoleum, tile, and even use it on the plastic floor mats many clients have in their kitchens. It is easy for a teenager, or an elderly person. NO messy pails and wringing out nasty mops. All you do is take the pads off, throw them in the washer, and I even dry mine. They have a variety of different pads you can get depending on the task at hand. I have 3 Shark Steam Mops and have had one for over 2 years and the only problem I have had is the thing on the end of the cord broke and that was from me accidentally yanking it out of an outlet. (My fault 100%). Now it takes me minutes to clean floors that normally would take hours. I also have a back problem, and I find that my back does not hurt at all using the Steam Mop but mopping use to hurt my back so bad. It makes a great gift for a shower, wedding, birthday or Christmas.

It works to well, it's has great steam quality to clean the floor. The pads are easy to install on the machine and after use, throw them in the wash machine to clean for the next time. It's easy to use and cleans the floors without using any chemicals. It recommend it!

So it took me awhile to decide how I felt about this steam mop, but I also had to get used to tile flooring in our home.Pros: no dirty water, no bucket. Cleans and sanitizes at the same time. Just switch the pads as you use them and throw them in the wash. You’ll know when it needs water. It really helps for those with physical limitations and does the work for you.Though they advise not to put any other product in the reservoir, you can pre-wet the pads and spray the floor with fabuloso to get that clean smell. I also found it does help to clean the dirt better and faster.Cons: you have to switch the pads out often (or continue “cleaning” and just push around the dirt like a normal mop). It doesn’t come with many pads so you’ll have to buy more. Cord obviously doesn’t give full mobility like it would if it were cordless. I have found plain water gives a burning type of smell that can be avoided with scented water specifically for steam mops.

I have a dusty old home. Even living in the humid midwest I have to dust two-three times a week and then I add my 2 dogs and a cat to the mix and I’ve got the perfect mix for constant dirty floors.The puppies track in mud, dirt, leaves and sticks, you name it. The cat leaves his fur and litter wherever he chooses. And the dust. Well. It dusts. Everything.I have a normal steam mop that I’ve loved for so long but it can’t handle the fine dust along with the other asks that I have of it. And I noticed it during a deep clean of the hardwood stairs (oh. yes. did I mention. hardwood everywhere!) that the very next day a fine layer of dust still existed. It was like my perfect steam mop hadn’t made a dent.So on the hunt I went for something that would lift up dust and dirt and fur (I do vacuum 3-5x a week as well). I tried a cross wave but it got clogged in 10 seconds flat. And while it might be good for a one pet household or I need one of the bigger versions, it felt like more of a inconvenience for me.So back on the hunt I went.And then this Shark showed up and I couldn’t stop lusting after it.And so one day in a crazed state (it was late at night, I couldn’t sleep thinking about the dusty) I bought it.I waited with bated breathe and couldn’t wait to use it!It’s perfect. My floors will never be fully clean but this easily lifts up the dust and the dirt. I’m glad I got the stepped up version with the steam stream or whatever it’s called bc that really helps with the tile and the dirt that gets stuck to the floor but if you don’t have all wood and tile or 3 four legged creatures who let your share their home OR your home isn’t amazingly dusty, then likely you could get away with the basic version.I’ve used this several times and love how easy it is to use, get started, fill up, attach the pads, and wash the pads. I have had very few issues with it (except the one time I flew too close to the sun and it tore my internet cord out of my wall, but that’s fully my own fault, not fault of the mop)The one and only con I have is that I think it’s so dumb the tank is not detachable. If Shark and Bissell had a baby steam mop, that would be the perfect steam mop. I have to use this steam mop until the tank is empty even if I’m doing a small space bc I refuse to pick it up and dump the water back into the sink.This is one issue I always have with Shark. I looooove that they’re such a dupe for Dyson, I just wish their design for convenience was a little better.That said, I’m 1000% satisfied with my purchase and 12/10 recommend!
