Alphabet (Flash Kids Flash Cards) Cards – 7 Mar. 2011

As my 3yr old grandson is non speaking autistic this is a good way of getting him to learn. He had started doing it at home so bought these for when he stays at mine. His 2yr old brother is learning too..A very good way to teach them letters and they also have number cards too.

Very pleased with these cards when they arrived, and they have lived up to their expectations. Had several different brands of alphabet packs bookmarked to buy, and chose these because of the simple appearance, number of cards in the pack, price and good reviews.Would definately recommend to friends who have young children- they are a good size (in my opinion) being 13 and a half cm by 8 and a half cm. The colours are vibrant and attractive, easily drawing attention, and most importantly the letters are clear and large.Each card is double sided, and there are three sets of cards. One features an upper case letter on one side and a picture on the other(A and an apple), one a lower case letter with the same picture example, and finally the picture presented on one side with the spelling of that word in lower case on the other side. Great for continuity and matching games etc.I personally bought these cards for my 1 year old as an introduction to simple lettering and examples of basic words, and I do think they are sturdy enough and could withstand a lot of play. The packet states ages 4 and up, and if giving to that age group there whould be little issue of bending, tearing or chewing!I loved the fact that at the end of the pack there are also 6 colour cards with a block of colour on one side, and on the other the spelling of that colour, which I found an attractive addition. The colours are red, yellow, green, orange, purple and blue.If only they had added in a pink one for good measure and it would have been an excellent accompanyment when teaching colours and singing the 'rainbow' song!I can't, however, mark the product down for this as they are plainly alphabet cards and do the job well. I would also buy other cards from the 'flashkids' range in future, as they too look brilliant, but it would help if there was a little better product description for each packet, and this is partly why I have written so much!

I bought these for my 2yr old daughter to get her learning the alphabet before she starts nursery. The cards are a good size, nice colours and have managed to catpure my daughter attention. They come with the capital letters as well as the lower case letters and also have a set that spells the picture as well as card teaching them the colours. They seem pretty durable as suprisingly not one has been torn in my daughter's possession!Great price and worth the purchase, as my daughter is now learning her phonics and has already managed to spell her name using the cards!

Perfect for nursery and reception class kids. The only reason I am not rating this 5 stars is because I find the flash cards a bit too big. Reasonably priced and swift delivery, hence I am happy with this purchase! Thank you.

The cards are great, good quality, lovely colours and pictures. A fun way to go over letters with your little one.

Exactly what I wanted. I wanted to have upper case and lower case on seperate cards.It comes with a word card as well with every letter of the alphabet. Behind the word card is the corresponding pictire.It also comes with some coloured cards which is perfect. Plenty of colour on the cards.The card quality is fine, however I will be laminating these as my little one is 2.Very happy with these. Definitely recommend.

These cards have been a really useful way for my 2.5 year old daughter to start learning about lower & upper case letters. We play matching the lower and upper case versions of the letters and she loves turning them over to reveal the picture, proving that she has the match correct. Recommended for those who are starting letter recognition. So far they also seem pretty sturdy.

the cards are nice & big,you get 3 cards for each letter...eg- A , a , apple(pic of an apple on back of cards). 2 letter cards & 1 card with a word & a picture on back of each card to do the the letter,you also get 6 extra cards of colours,each one says the colour on the back,orange,purple,blue,yellow,red & green,i'm very pleased i bought this,my girl is only 2 years old,she knows her colours already & hopefully she will know her alphabet ready for nursery like her big sister
