Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: The Cataclysm Of Kang

Whether you enjoy role playing games or comic books, this product is for you. Excellently written, making the entire experience come to life. I'd give it six stars if I could. Can't wait to play!!!

Looks to be a solid adventure/campaign for this game.

I just started running this with my play group, and golly does it go hard. At first I said to myself, "I usually only eat Chinese books, but why not a change of pace? I have earned a little splurge, right?" I opened this tome of amazement and, WHAMM! it smacked me in the face with that new book smell! The pages were slick and easy to turn; they boiled well in the pot and the smells that filled my domicile were rich with a fragrant aroma of learning and fun. I would recommend pairing this book with a 88' La Blanc for the full dinning experience.

Enjoyed it. A nice solid edition to the RPG. Eager awaiting more books and content.

The Marvel Universe Role-Playing Game takes a page from the "great" and adapts the game adventure format made popular by D&D; this volume allows near players to carefully tip-toe into the world of the MU RPG and explore and build in an exciting environment that feels creative and supportive for inexperienced RPGamers and beyond. It also features a whole slew of exciting character profiles to add to the mix.

This has most of the non X-men heroes like SamCap and others. It does a good job introducing the GM to how to set up a game like a comic book.

Amazing story, very interesting and well written. I cannot wait to run the campaign.

I love this system and I hope it sticks around for a while. With that being said this book i feel is the weakest in the line up. It's more of a pre-built adventure book than anything and it doesn't add much to the game. It did provide my group and I an easy starting point to start playing but the problem with pre built adventures is that the players should dictate where the story goes and not the book. Running pre built adventures always feels like railroading the players through a story. I will say this book did introduce some vehicles and further added to the character profiles which I'd say is worth it if you can catch this book on sale.

While I really enjoy the game, this product has a massive misprint, missing several pages, and repeating others. An unfortunate disappointment of a product.
