If you're a new drummer finding it hard to play on a kitchen chair but the idea of €100 for a drum throne is freaking you out, then this is probably the right buy for you. It's a very cheap stool, and you know that buying it, so you can't really be surprised that it doesn't come with all the bells and whistles. I avoid calling it a "drum throne", as I feel that's overplaying the quality of it. You have to tighten everything up really well and even then it's a tiny bit unstable and it squeaks and creaks. There's not fine-tuning on the height. You get 3 height settings and that's it. But it's fine. You can play and you're comfortable and it didn't break the bank. It's not especially quick to adjust so not the kind of thing you buy for transporting to gigs. Maybe as an emergency spare that you keep in the car.

Seat DOES NOT FOLD. Ad shows a folding seat bracket, this item is not folding. Seat upper has to be removed. Only the leg/feet fold up.

GOOD SEAY AND EASY TO ASSEMBLE

The only thing that let this down badly was a round tube that the feet were on, was actually being fitted into a smaller hole that wasn't round, but oval. Had to get my specialist tools for bending metal to bend open and reshape it to fit the small bolt. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt as it's plastic on metal. Once I managed it I think it is comfy and can be height adjusted. Got it as a package with th drum kit. But as I was away for ages and only just built it, then it was too late to send back for a refund. Hopefully it will last now. Hence just two stars for assemble.
