This light is very interesting! I love the USB C charging, and the well-machined body! This light is no joke! They installed a filter in front of it that seems like it would block the light. However, even with it in place, this will light up EVERYTHING! I tried this in the front yard on a late summer night. In seconds I was fighting off the flies who were strongly attracted to it!I've used in in hotels to verify no bed bugs or scorpions.This would be excellent for use in camping, detecting AC leaks, curing some epoxies, using dental whiteners and decoding lemon juice secret messages. It's also good for detecting forged currency and IDs!I definitely got my moneys worth out of it, and keep it handy for all kinds of reasons.Sometimes at night, I stand it upright and let it shine on the ceiling to iluminate the whole room!Fun for kids, but Sasquatches don't seem to like UV light! 👀

I use this to check security on foreign currencies and it does a great job! Can see it in daylight just fine. Would buy this again!!

This is a short but beefy wide UV flashlight. It puts out only the 365 nm light (preferred) and no visible purple light to interfere with dye hunting, bug hunting, urine hunting or for uranium glass or rock hunting. It does get warm quickly on the high setting, so there's a lot of power going through those LED's.My one gripe is that it was shipped with the batteries already installed and the battery contact protector removed, even though the instructions say to remove the tape and install the batteries yourself. The box has 3 slots for the batteries, like they're supposed to be shipped uninstalled. Other reviewers have noted the same thing, so it's obviously the seller's practice, not a return issue.One warning. Never go through your kitchen or bathroom, especially the walls around any toilet a male uses, with this light. You will see things you never knew were there in regular light and either be horrified or grossed out.

Actual watts drawn from the 4x18650 batteries is 17-18.5W on high depending on battery charge amount. It's got a big diameter and heavy weight, but you expect that for the amount of UV output and decent battery life you get. Maybe not in the pack every time, but it will go along when the extra output is needed. A nice feature is two output levels, the 18W and a battery saving 3.3W setting.

Really is a great UV light. Works great for scorpion hunting which is what I use it for. It has a decently wide range to easily spot those little guys hiding even in taller grass. It does put out some power and can even get you sweating a little after long use. Flashlight does get a little warm but it’s understandable with the power this thing puts out. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality well built UV light that won’t disappoint.

If I had to offer one critique, it would be that these lights lose intensity rather quickly, even when used in the low power setting. Not sure if it’s a battery cell issue or something else in the design/implementation… Even so, I believe these to be worthy of the ~$80 USD I payed for them… My impressions lead me to believe they are built well enough that I’ll have this light forever, someday I’ll try some different batteries/cells but in the meantime I’d still say I’m very satisfied overall

Nice bright beam and covers a large area. The head does get hot but, not unbearably, when used on high setting for some time. I primarily use low setting and max length of time, two minutes straight, so far and only indoor. It is very stocky and fairy heavy but wow, this light works as described!
