I bought these Parker Cartridges to fit one of their more expensive fountain pens. Initially I found it hard to get the ink flowing because the cartridge didn't seem to puncture when inserted into the pen and the barrel was replaced. After a bit of fiddling the ink flowed and it was fine. At the top of the cartridge there's an ink reserve which if you tap it will bail you out with a bit of extra ink - nothing seems to be made of this feature on the package which is curious. Overall, once working these cartridges are fine.

Parker S0116240 Quink Ink Cartridges Permanent - Blue (Box of 5) good ink but expensive, also there is 1.5 cms of blank tube, why can't Parker fill that space with ink as well.Writes well and smoothly.

Blue ink is very nice, once it dries becomes a vivid blue, not the dark ink it is when writing.A thing to note is if you only sparingly use your pen than dont use cartridges rather a piston re filler would be better. because i noticed one i left in storage (connected to the pen so no longer sealed closed). all its ink had dried up and that cartridge pretty much went to waste.
