Put some of this down at the weekend. The next morning I found the biggest log ever smack bang in the middle of my front lawn. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry, was like a big F you from the Cat that did it. Followed by another one today. Not impressed at all by this product so far.

Although the product arrived on time and in good condition, it was a total waste of money as it is completely ineffective !

I have used this product for number of years of short term use ie to prevent the local and neighbour's cats from fouling recently dug over areas of my front garden until the soil becomes firm enough to prevent the cats form digging a hole themselves. Leaves a garlic smell hanging over the garden for a day or two until it rains, then you find you may have to sprinkle again.As time has drawn on my local garden centres have closed and others haven't sold this, so I have not been able to get hold of this.Recently under a heavy attack of cats I have gone in search of this and turned to Amazon, finding a supplier [who I choose not to name as their service was very good], priced around £6 and a few pence.Well, I thought, that's a reasonable price for the size container I want (not actually reading the advert fully), and around what I paid for before, so with free delivery it was an instant order. It arrived within a reasonable time and was exceptionally well packed, however it was half the size of what I had before and a price tag of around £3.50 was left sticking to the lid. Now I felt uncomfortable as clearly the postage and packaging costs had been hidden within the displayed price. I would have bought it anyway if it had been advertised at around £3.50 with £3 postage and packaging. It's that good a product, in my experience.Within a month of the order I visited a garden centre slightly further afield for our usual one's and guess what they had both sizes in stock 225grams £3.49 and 500grams £5.99 and they are an expensive garden centre chain. Naturally the petrol costs are less than 'postage' so you may find me elsewhere.

Instructions on the pack are easy to read, advise to wear gloves, and do keep children and pets away from the grass (as stated on the pack), but so far from placing this on the grass this morning (06/082011)- all clear of cats so far!, would recommend especially for those front garden's.Happy with purchase.

Maybe its just the cats in our area, but I've been applying this regularly for several weeks at dosages far higher than it tells you on the packet, and whilst I can smell it myself, it hasn't made the slightest difference at keeping the cats off. I'm still clearing up their mess every day from the very patch I've applied this product to.
