Azul: Master Chocolatier

This is a wonderful new game to play with family and friends. Directions were easy to follow and once you got the hang of it, your strategizing skills are put to good use. This is a game we will play for a long time.

Quick to learn once you play it once (we’ve only played two player so far). Now we can’t stop playing it! Really beautiful design and colors. The chocolate version is fun because it’s like playing with chocolate candies. The more we play the more we learn that there is a lot of strategizing involved. Also different options to play but so far we have only tried one version. I recommend!

I love this game, great game to play for 30-45 minutes. Love the production and the game scheme. Would recommend for your friends who love strategy and pretty things.

Super fun game! Love the chocolate theme with this one. It made for a fun gift and family game night.

We already have the original Azul so we knew what we were getting into. This game seemed easier. Good for kids who understand color matching, counting, and making sets.

Haven’t played the original, but this themed variant is amazing. The tile quality is similar to a domino, and the board is sturdy and well designed. Gameplay mechanics allow this game to be deep but played quickly (half a hour), which works out well if you have trouble carving out time. Great fun, highly recommend.

I am a fan of the normal Azul game and bought this one because it looked cute. The pieces are all good quality. I wish the chocolates looked a bit more like actual chocolates, but it doesn't take away from the game. If you are new to Azul, it's very fun with light strategy. I taught my in-laws and they love it! Note: the only difference between this game and the normal version is the look.

If you liked the original game, or you are a chocolate lover looking for a new, light strategic game, or both then this game is for you. My wife absolutely *loves* the original game, and we gave copies to many family members. She saw this newer version, and she had to have it. It is great fun and is essentially the same strategy repackaged as a chocolatier's dream. We played it five times in a row. We love this game, and we think you will too.

The chocolate tiles look gorgeous. Chocolatier Azul doesn't bring anything new to the game. It's not an extension. There's a new variant to play which I haven't tried but it's otherwise Azul with different colours is a treat to look at and just as good to play.

La caja llegó con ligeros detalles estéticos pero muy poco perceptibles, no afecta la jugabilidad, las piezas son de muy buena calidad y muy estéticas, el juego es bastante entretenido, no requiere de mucha estrategia, recomendado para aquellos que están empezando en los juegos de mesa

The game was received from seller Kay Kay Enterprises. The paper packaging itself was concerning as it couldn't have protected the game from dents and scratches. When I opened the paper packaging I was surprised to see some random magnetic tiles game included in the packaging. Its presence would make sense in a couple of minutes. The game box was without shrink wrap and slightly sticky to touch. That set off the alarm bells. Upon opening the game box, I realised that someone - either the seller or a previous buyer - had taken out components. So there was no rulebook, only 2 out of the 4 player boards, and dozens of missing game pieces. Absolutely unusable and very disappointing. I've placed a return order.

Es un juego sencillo de aprender pero que tiene cierta estrategia para competir con tus compañeros de juego. Los materiales son de excelente calidad y estéticamente es muy bonito en mesa, dan ganas de comerse los "chocolates". Las losetas volteables le dan un plus que le da variación al primer azul.
