I am really very happy with my purchase. I went to all the showrooms, both independent and the usual chains, and also scoured bathroom websites. What I DIDN'T want was those plasticky taps with flimsy handles and chrome which comes off in 2 years, but I also didn't want to pay £200 for bath and sink taps. So I did my research! Having found these, I went on the Hapilife website, went through all the Amazon reviews, asked several questions- and thank you to everyone who replied.Reassured that these were solid and good quality I placed the order and they arrived promptly, beautifully packaged in shock absorbant moulded plastic.I am genuinely so happy, the taps are reassuringly heavy and solid and this chrome is NOT coming off! The taps look almost brushed stainless steel in the composite image, but they are shiney, with smooth edges and contemporary without calling too much attention.The handle mechanism is smooth and because of the curve, you get a pretty arc of water flowing into the bath. There are dried water marks, but again because of the curve, water tends to run off. A lazy wipe with a dry cloth deals with it in seconds.Report from the plumber: very, very pleased with the quality and actually stunned at the price. I had to tell him the price as I didn't want him thinking we were loaded!They have now been fitted and they look great! *Absolutely worth the money.*Our bathroom renovations continue as you'll see from our photos- the grouting still to be done.Advice: Taps are a 'forever' purchase, so don't get suckered by the super cheap 'chrome' covered plastic tap offers which litter this site.Don't even rely on these Amazon reviews which are usually written when the item is new and sparkling. On the major advice Forums (money saving expert, mum's net etc) I found lots of complaints about taps with brown edges where the chrome has come off with continual use and the brass beneath is showing. How many times a day does a tap get used?I would highly recommend these taps. You will feel relieved and then super happy when you open the box.

Looks sleek and modern, seems decent quality (time will tell I guess - I've had taps before where the surface begins to bubble and peel after a year or so!) Very well packaged - there's no way this should arrive damaged no matter how rough the courier is. Plenty of good quality padding in the box. Not the cheapest but looks good and feels sturdy.

Fitted these bathroom taps with no problems. All seems OK and the chrome hasn't got that "thin look" that some cheap taps suffer from. And now the small but....The external corners of the spouts are extremely pointed and very sharp, they should have been ground off before the chrome plating was applied. I wouldn't want to catch my skin on them and I would be very concerned if a child was splashing about while bathing.
