Good quality and long lasting
Super easy to use and lasts a long time. I’ve had this for a good few years now and it’s stayed stuck to my dash the whole time, regardless of how hot or cold it gets. It fits most phone sizes pretty comfortably. Over a great product, would buy again

Great mount!
I normally have hated these phone mounts, particularly universal ones. They fall off. They don't hold the phone well. They look bad. I've gone with Rokform mounts for years, and even an Android Auto headunit just so I can use Google Maps to navigate without a phone mount like this. But my wife's car simply has nowhere good for a Rokform magnet, and the headunit is integral so I can't replace it. I needed a way to mount her Note 8 phone (it's a huge phone, fairly heavy and awkward in its wallet case) in her 2015 CRV. I found a few places mentioned iOttie on discussion forums, to the point where I suspected it was spam, but I went ahead and bought one. It's not spam. This is a terrific mount. In the CRV, there's a space on the dashboard next to one of the screens that works perfectly for this mount, but in almost any car, you could use the dashboard instead of the window. This is because iOttie ships a plastic disc with the mount (like old nicer GPS units used to include). It affixes with high quality automotive tape, the kind that generally doesn't leave a mark on the dashboard. Dashboard mount is superior to window mount because any tiny budge will not tear the unit away from suction over time. It's working with gravity, not against it. You can mount it to a window, and the suction cup is sticky and strong, but dash is the way to go if you can. The phone's case extends beyond the phone, but the mount had no problem at all holding the phone steady. You press the two long buttons while putting the phone in place, and let go, and it just grips it in place. Removing the phone is just as elegant. I really am pleased with it. I drove across the state for the recent holidays and used this mount, and it was excellent. I normally drive my car with a nice Android Auto headunit, but this was really just as good (and I recommend that Android Auto app for driving... it's safer and easy to use without touching the phone). The mount articulates in many ways, even out towards the driver, and it feels very well made. It's worth the inexpensive price easily.

Incredibly helpful and reliable
I got this for my mom and she loves it! It works great--I don't have to stress about her messing with a phone while driving anymore because it's right there, you hardly have to take your eyes off the road. Its grip is strong but still very easy to remove the phone and it's simple to set up if you read the instructions. I thought it might have problems suctioning to the curved dashboard surface, but it worked fine. Prevents her from dropping and losing it too, though sometimes I have to remind her that the phone is in the holder (like losing glasses on her head lol). Overall fantastic purchase, though I haven't tried other car phone holders, but this one is a safe bet in my opinion and she's had it for several months now with it working just like new. I was a little apprehensive of it being rickety or wobbly but it's solid, good-quality stuff. Edit: As soon as hot weather came around, the sticky part that adheres to the dashboard surface began melting and sliding off, rendering it completely unusable. Very annoying waste of money which created a sticky mess for several weeks! I bought a new one from the brand on here called "ANIOPE" which works much better as it mounts by securely screwing onto the air vent and as an added bonus is half the price (just sayin)

Does not like direct sunlight and heat.
Upcoming complaints aside, I've enjoyed this product for what I payed for it. Given, I purchased it discounted through the Treasure Truck. Aside from two main issues, I'd recommend getting this while it's on sale if you want an easy to use mount for an affordable price. Those issues being the adhesive pad and the suction cup to mount arm assembly. My main problem is that after barely over a year, the product failed on me the other day. The included plastic disc to which you would mount the suction cup has a sort of silicone or similar based 'sticky-pad' to adhere the plastic base to a dashboard. Admittedly, it took more time than I'd have liked to get it to initially stick (it does tell you to hold it down with pressure for a time to achieve proper adhesion) but once it stuck, it's stayed stuck until now. With summer approaching, the sun is getting stronger here in Texas in the Southern United States. My sun-shade failed on me last year as it started shedding it's material in small flakes all over the place (but that's another review for another product for another time) and so this year I don't have one as of yet. First hot day, and the pad lost adhesion and detached from my dashboard, ripping slightly in the process, causing me to find the mount on my floorboard the next time I entered the car. On the bright side, the pad did not damage my dashboard in any way in the last year. But since, it has refused to regain adhesion. Long story short, if you live anywhere with hot summers (or late springs), then be sure to have some sort of shade for your windshield to protect the device when you aren't in the car. I'm currently having to look for a replacement, but iOttie does not seem to sell replacement 'sticky pads' after a search here on Amazon, my only option seems to be a set of generic 3M replacement pads. The only other problem is where the suction cup connects to the rest of the device. It's not entirely 'perfect' and is actually slightly lose and gives the device some side to side sway with just enough give to cause your phone to sometimes end up at a less than ideal angle. It's not so much as to be a huge deal, I'm sure it can be ignored, but I for one unfortunately can't. I'm mildly OCD so if things aren't 'right' and as they should be, I can't ignore them. So small things like a few degrees in rotation is very distracting to me. Very bad while driving. I generally just chalk it up to a manufacturing defect and try to just live with it, but I feel that it's worth noting to prospective buyers just in case. All in all, it gets a pass from me as a decent product especially if you keep in mind it's aversion to direct sunlight and heat when it doesn't have the benefit of AC running. I payed $17 for it if I remember correctly and despite the small problems, I have no regrets purchasing it.

I love this because it stays in place and doesn't move. Thanks a million 😊

Works great!
Moves all over and fits my otter box case for my iPhone 16 plus. And I found a perfect place to put it in my Nissan kicks 2025 SV were people can’t see it easy and I can.
