Dimmable 33.6W LED Driver Power Supply Transformer 240V-DC12V 2.8A for LED Strip Lights,MR16,MR11 & G4, Safety Compliant:CE+LVD+EMC+RoHS+ETL [Energy Class A]

I found it a complicated business calculating the wattage usage of multiple metres of LED strip. Tried several transformers and eventually after much calculation and trial testing I settled for the Dimmable 33.6w LED Driver Power Supply Transformer which meets all of my requirements. The transformer is sleek and powerful and dims with most standard mains dimmers. The only slight problem is the 12v dc output terminals not designed for more than one wire which can be easily dealt with by extending to a terminal block. I have purchased several of these transformers and intend to buy many more. By the way, the packaging also green and attractive.

I replaced 4 x 12volt MR16 halogen bulbs (20W) with 5W LEDs, only to find it made the transformer buzz and after a few seconds the bulbs started flashing. So I replaced the transformer with this one, and then everything worked perfectly. The LED bulbs are so much brighter than the halogens! Really pleased.Just out of interest, I tried the new transformer with the original halogen bulbs, and they were REALLY dim. So this transformer is only for low wattage LEDs.

Easy to fit and works great with my LED's after just converting from my old transformer and bulbs :-)
