Learning Resources Inflatable Globe Without Light

Bought to replace an older one that deflated. Grandkids love it, playing with it like a ball but they will often sit down with it, study it and ask questions. Well worth it.

No repair kit included and impossible to inflate. Don’t bother.

Bought this as a stocking filler for my 7 year old niece and spent the evening discovering all the places she had heard but had no idea where they were. Had a great game 'find the country' Would recomend for any child or for any backpacker.

For the price Its fine, my kids are mainly throwing it around in the pool. And for that I'd buy it again. But isn't as described. Half of the country names are illegible, it doesn't come with the repair kit, hook or activity pack as described. If you wanted it for your classroom, spend a little more.

This globe is fine - I bought it for a game with my Brownie Unit and it managed to be thrown about by 32 girls for an evening without getting broken. It does look a bit squashy and mishapen even when blown up to full, but for the price I don't think this matters at all. Didn't spoil our usage anyway.

My grandson is interested in the world and Britain's place in it, 'How far is Australia? Is it further that Poland? Where's the Arctic? etc. So I bought this for me, so that I could show him places on our webcam conversations. It's a success so I've just bought another one for him to have. Great value for money. It will blow up rounder that it looks on the illustration and it has a loop on the top and a cord to tie through so you can spin it round or hand it up.

Had high hopes for this, but the quality is terrible for the price. Very quickly it became obvious that the valve didn’t hold the air in no matter how firmly the stopper was put in. After less than an hour the globe was clearly deflating. Having to inflate it every time it was used also put strain on the seams and one of those leaked after a few days so it only stayed inflated for a few minutes

Very good ball. If you are not expecting geografical precision, you will most likely be happy with it. It's not meant to ge a globe. I bought it for my 5 and 3 year olds to give them an idea of how the earth looks like and what are the distances between countries (why we say that Australia is down under). They really liked looking at the countries and continents and kicking the ball as well.

I ordered these to take on a scientific expedition where I knew we would be interacting with the children of nomadic families. It was fun to show them where on the globe we came from, then leave the globe as an educational toy. Being able to carry multiples because they pack flat and weigh almost nothing was a big plus; would also be easy to store in a classroom setting. It was hard to know before ordering what the quality would be, as there are hundreds of companies selling similar products. I'm happy to report that these are fine quality: lightweight, accurate, and will probably hold up reasonably well to children's play (I didn't have the opportunity to assess that).

こどもと言ってもまだ一歳手前。別に国名を覚えるとか地図に親しむとか、そういったことは全然ないのですが、カラフルな色合い、触り心地、軽くていくらでも叩いたり持ち上げたりできるところ、この辺にハマったようです。 地図としては正直精度がかなり低く、地名印刷がずれていたりして残念なところはありますが、結局ふくらませるビーチボールですし、地図用途としてではなく遊び道具としてなら超優秀だと思います。壁にぶつけられてもうるさくないですよ。
