I have loved everything about this pump replacement so far. Its unitized structure makes it easy to hook up and will allow me to detach it and store it inside once I close down the cottage in October. Perfect pump for this 76 year old cabin owner.

This is horrible I bought it in November used it once and it stopped working. Paid over $300 for it to stop working after I used it once. Honestly think they sent me one that was already used. Don't waist your time

The media could not be loaded.  My intent for this pump is to help pressurize and circulate water captured in a large rain water tank for irrigation. In the meantime and before completely relying on this pump I wanted to put it to the test to see if it would crack. My pool has been standing idle all winter until now March of 2023 and I want to evacuate all the water to do some work under the liner and refill with fresh water. This is a 27' pool that holds approximately 17,000 gallons filled to the top, there was some evaporation which means when I started this test it was closer to 14 or 15,000 gallons.Your suction is the top hole ( 1" thread ) and your outlet is the front one ( 1" ) thread as well. You'll receive a threaded adapter with this pump that you can use to buy all of the appropriate fittings for your application. Per the instructions you should prime the piping individually and install them onto the pump, honestly there's no real way to do that so I installed all of my piping and used a garden hose to back fill all of the piping with water before turning it on. This is a super easy pump to install compared to your typical 3 line 240v pumps. After priming I turned this on and almost immediately ( 30 minutes ) I noticed the water flow was very low..after removing the filter cap and cleaning it out I turned this pump back on and it ran for about 14 hours and it moved at minimum about 8,000 gallons of water without any further hiccups.In the pictures you can see the pump picked up a lot of sediment, algae, and leaves from the bottom of the pool..but once that intake area cleared it never stopped pumping. So one precaution I would advise is to install a larger sediment filter for a well pump to keep the small built in filter from plugging up. This pump great for HOURS and moved a serious amount of water, I'm definitely confident using this for its originally intended purpose.

Plan on using to pump water uphill to my garden. Think it will power my sprinklers without issue. Seems well made and built to last. Really got nothing bad RIP say about it
