No help needed, Obi Wan Kenobi!
What can I say? I LOVE this game! I was a fan of the old West End Games / Wizards of the Coast RPG and have been in love with Star Wars since I saw the original (where Solo shot first! Nuff said!) Back in’77. The game dice allow a Hell of a lot more interpretations into true role playing and is supplemented by the on line community from the Fantasy Flight Games website. Free downloads and a whole supplement of free resources available. We have ordered the core rulebooks after spending an entire Bank Holiday weekend playing the game and even the old Kenner figures came down from the loft! A must for true Star Wars fans and hardened RP Gamers alike!

Nice boxset 14 more dice (same ones s the edge ...
Nice boxset 14 more dice (same ones s the edge of empire dice set) so at time of writing this dice set is 11.99... this boxset was available from 14.50..... nice little rules reference booklet something that i find easier to flick through as a gm than the main rulebook... nice color mats for people who like that sort of thing.... only real gripe is the box its so thin and flimsy one good sneeze would blow it away.... if like me you are a collector as well this is disappointing.. to last i better seal it away in a plastic box....

A nice starter set for Star Wars tabletop roleplay
A nice starter set for Star Wars role-play for beginners and useful components for more experienced GM's like the dice set.

A good starting place for people wanting to try roleplaying games for the first time, but severely lacking as part of an ongoing adventuring toolset. I'd recommend this pack for people wanting to test their feet before plunging into the Star Wars roleplaying universe, for experienced gamers the kit is only really useful for the set of custom dice you get with it.

Great set
Great way to get into the game and start off good value and everything is easy to understand.

challenging
personally found this rather challenging with the die rolls. It was overly complicated and in the end I gave up trying to work out what I'd rolled and just let other people sort it out for me, though they admitted they didn't like the rules of rolling either. Other than that it was okay, was over pretty quickly though.

Excellent introduction to the Star Wars RPG: Age of Rebellion
Excellent starter box for Star Wars RPG by Fantasy Flight Games. This specifically is for the Age of Rebellion book which is the 2nd part of the Star Wars RPG series.Comes with Star Wars Dice (this makes it worth it for the price). Includes a mini campaign, pre-generated characters, some rules, maps and tokens. If you get this for 15-20 pounds it's worth every penny.

A very flimsy 'box' that wont keep you busy for very long
Being a Fantasy Flight Games product, I had an expectation that the game would come in a durable box which would keep its contents safe and allow you to keep dice, cards, counters and other bits as you buy into the line.Instead you get a flimsy high grade paper 'box' that requires a hard cardboard internal skeleton to give it structural integrity. I am now loath to open the dice and punch out the counters prior to first use for lack of anywhere to keep them.If Pathfinder, D&D and Dragon Age can provide a box, why not FFG?Other than that the rules provided are the bare minimum needed to play the scenarios provided (one online). There is no advice on chargen or development beyond what is expected from the scenarios.I have seen more information on free 'quick play' rules for various rpg's provided for free as pdfs.I am not convinced I received value for money given the one shot props, characters and scenario provided.Re use value is limited to the dice provided.I was disappointed.
