Q: What is the difference in this one cfp307 and the cfp301 model?

301 and 307 are the same except 307 has a permanent coffee filter packed in it.

Not sure I get your question. You need to remove the Kcup adapter to fit the drip screen or paper. The water head is like a shower so it soaks the grounds evenly.

Q: How many inches tall is this?

The unit is 15” tall, but you need 18”-19” clearance to insert the pod.
