--- It saved my computer, a perfectly functioning computer with just one small nuisance: Noise. My computer was a high-quality custom-built, with a cooler and fan that wasn't too shabby to start with. The system was fairly quiet. But I wanted it to be even quieter. I wanted it to be almost silent under normal operations, and persistently so. This would require the CPU temperature to be consistently under 50°C. My old cooler and fan could almost do just that, but the fan still kicked in at a higher speed occasionally during normal daily operations, making a distraction that I didn't want to bear with. So I decided to replace the cooler with a better one. Bought this one based on both the reviews and the specs (the sheer size of it), but with some doubt due to its low price. The result was perfect. The CPU temperature now never rises above 40°C when the fan is at a minimal 750 RPM, essentially silent. Perfect. To put it simply, with this cooler, the fan is simply running at a constant speed of 750 RPM, and never needs to kick in at a higher speed. I haven't done any heavy load test, but I don't need to because I almost never do heavy load stuff on my computer. If I do need to do that one day, I won't mind some noise. What I'm mostly obsessed with is the noise during daily normal operations. And for that, this is simply whisper quiet and consistently so. However, the installation was hard. I had several moments of thinking about giving up. This is not to blame for this particular product. Installing the CPU cooler is typically the hardest thing when installing a computer. Replacing an existing cooler is at least 4x as difficult. Not only have you got extra work to do to uninstall the existing one, but more importantly, everything is just harder because you don't have a clean board to start with and there are installed parts in the way making every step qualitatively harder than installing a cooler when you are building a new computer. It is predictably hard, but it is manageable. I did it, and I feel worth it every time when I use the updated computer. A TIP: Follow instructions. The exact order of the steps and which parts are needed at each step do matter and can make a difference between 30 minutes of pain and several hours of pain. Because the product is made to be versatile, it comes with many parts that your particular PC may not need. Therefore, instead of guessing during the installation, you should familiarize yourself with the whole thing BEFORE you start to install it. Another point of data: this works for LGA 1150/1151, even though the instructions show only LGA 1200 and above. I was quite concerned when I read the instructions and thought I had bought the wrong product, but it worked without any compromise.

This is a super great value for about $25! Installation is a breeze for Intel 115X, well designed. Should be even easier on AM4 since it uses AMDs built-in back plate. Cooling is also great, keeping my older 2600k at 29c idle and 59c at 100% load. Included fan seems good enough, quiet and efficient cooling. Small footprint so zero interference with ram. Needed to upgrade case and PSU and didn't want to put back in noisy water cooler and this is quieter without the noisy pump. Initially I was going with the classic 212 evo but was turned off with the installation guides and so glad I did as this was a cinch.

I viewed two YOUTUBE evaluations on budget CPU fans. This and a competing unit were the best of the bunch for achieving the lowest temperatures. Both were almost identical on the test chart results. A few were plus-or-minus 1 C. . On my computer, fan performance was excellent. Idling produced heat at 73F. On chores like internet surfing, spreadsheet, and word processing, the CPU reached 84F. These were close to room temperatures during summer in Seattle. With this product, I doubt if my CPU would ever reach +180F, the heat level where the chip began to be negatively affected. If sustained, malfunction could come. . As a word of advice, discard the installation booklet. Go to YOUTUBE and view the manufacturer video. The process is simple and almost foolproof. . As a surprise, this unit can also be installed in a Supermicro MBD-X10DRL-I-B with dual CPU slots. Because the LGA 2011 socket is a square with equal distance support holes on each of the four corners, the cooler's two support bars can be mounted parallel to the MB's side or top edge. This is important because the former will cause the fan to overhang above the second CPU socket, rendering useless. The latter's orientation will eliminate this issue.

Review for the ID-COOLING SE-224-XT specifically NOT the rgb version. Pros: Well machined and feels solid except one issue (see cons below) Near silent most of the time. Easy mounting and fan attachment (ridiculously so) Fan sits on cooler with more than enough room for the RAM even if they have tall heatspreaders. Huge drop in temps from the stock cooler (stealth) on my Ryzen 3600. Was hitting 95c and up when video encoding in handbrake and now doesn't climb above 74c. Gaming never gets above 65c and idle is a "frosty" 33.1 most of the time. Cons: (Only two) The heatsink is very well made but the top of the heatpipes are not smoothed and rounded like in the pictures. They instead come to a tapered point which adds another 0.5mm to 1.0mm to the overall height so it is not quite the 154mm advertised. Since many will ask it fits into a Lian-Li pc-011 with the side on but it just touches the glass slightly. At 100% fan speed fan speed the noise level is on par with a stock cooler running at 100% and there is a bit of coil whine. Overall though during games I have never heard it once but still this is still a con to some. To sum up I had heard of Id-Cooling but had not owned any of their products. So I took a chance on this cooler based on limited reviews as it is fairly new to the market and was more than pleasantly surprised. It's an amazing product and I think we will be hearing more about Id-cooling in the future.

My review of: "ID-COOLING SE-224-XT Basic CPU Cooler AM4 CPU Cooler 4 Heatpipes CPU Air Cooler 120mm PWM Fan Air Cooling for Intel/AMD" ASIN: B082V7TCSB I purchased this cooler over the Cooler Master Evo 212 mainly because the ID-COOLING SE-224-XT comes in a little shorter so I get a better clearance in my Node 804 case but as a bonus the ID-COOLING SE-224-XT also came with the brackets to support the newer Intel LGA 1700 sockets and the AMD AM5 socket! I purchased the cooler to replace the stock Intel fan that came with my Intel i5 11400 - mainly so I could use the CPU with the TDP limits removed and not worry about it. The cooler made a big difference in terms of cooling but also noise. The fan is larger and because of that it can spin slower but still perform better than the stock cooler and as a result it's quieter too. The assembly is very easy and the process is quick. The fan brackets are easy to install, hook them into the fan and clip them over the heatsink fins, done. The Cooler also includes thermal paste (you need to spread it on your CPU, it's not pre applied to the cooler) however I had my own paste on hand to use so can't judge what that's like but I presume it will be just as good as any other CPU thermal paste. Once all is prepped then it's just a case of placing the cooler over the CPU and screwing down, it really is that simple. I have no problems with my RAM clearance and I have room on my motherboard to populate all 4 banks if required. Overall this cooler is great. I get really good temps for my CPU, this cooler has a max rating of 180TPD so if you are trying to cool some really high-end CPU then this cooler probably won't be the solution however for the daily drivers then this is more than enough. 100% recommend the ID-COOLING SE-224-XT Basic CPU Cooler - Just to note, the difference between the basic and black is simply the colour of the heatsink and fan edges (Silver Vs Black really) no difference in operational values.

Le ventirad est très très silencieux et efficace je l’ai installé sur un i5-9400f en stresse test température toujours inférieur à 70°C et le ventirad a seulement 60%. My PC use is basically Gaming 70% & 30 % Browsing plus movie. I compared both Arctic Duo cooler & ID-Cooling for My PC..... Ended up with ID after multiple Youtube reviews. This is definitely easy to install . Performance even under Max CPU load doesn't cross 65 Celsius. As i am more comfortable with the temperature part i have now overclocked my CPU to 4.4GHZ with no heating issue. Highly recommended

PCケース Cooler Master MasterBox Q500L、CPU ryzen 5 pro 4650G 、 マザーボードMSI TOMAHAWK、メモリDDR4 3200Mhz 16G(8x2)猫グリス、 室温18C。マザボ付属DRAGON CENTERでの温度センサー調べ。 アイドル時CPUファン21%で30C。Cinebench マルチコアでCPUファン67～69% 温度61～62C。 ファン制御する前は風切り音が五月蠅く気に成りましたがCPU温度は30度以下でした。 制御後は気に成るほどの騒音は出ていません。ベンチ回すと流石に五月蠅いですが(個人感) ryzenなら取り付けも簡単ですし安い割に作りもよい感じで何より良く冷る。 ネットの評判通りに良い商品だと思います。 後、取り付け時にはヒートシンクの向きと締め付けトルクに気を付ける方が良いかも知れません。
