As always absolutely stunning leather book by moonster, smells so good and such quality of paper and leather.

The quality of this is incredible, it has an authentic old feel to it. Paper is thick and leather looks just the right amount of ‘worn’. Ink does not bleed on paper, even with a fountain pen. Great gift and presentation is fantastic. Hubby said he will be buying another when he’s filled this one. If you’re unsure, do it, you won’t be disappointed

I gave this to myself for Christmas. I love it so much. I wrote in it for the first time today on the 1st of Jan. I used a fountain pen because I wanted to see what kind of lines I can get. Hadn't used a fountain pen in years before this. It doesn't bleed through.The pages are yellow and look old, there's a vintage precious feel to it. It's wonderful for writing and sketching. I'm enjoying it very much.I think it's a great value for money.

This is beautiful. It is much more than it looks. I have bought others in the past that have been disappointing but this one blew me away. It has been made with such care and I was extremely, pleasantly surprised, when I opened the package. For something this beautiful I'd expect to pay at least double the price I paid. The soft leather cover is so authentic and the internal paper sleets are so thick. It is beautiful - I am only using it for photo props but I will treasure it and find a suitable use for it in time - until then it will be featuring in many of my book review photos!

Bought this for my partner who has been using it non-stop for journaling over the past several months. After he'd been scammed by folks on other sites, we were glad to find this was true to the listed dimensions, and as nice looking and feeling in person as it was in the pictures.Very happy with the value for money, and my partner loves it for writing in with his fancy fountain pen.

If you like the look of something that could be a movie prop or discovered in the cellar of a creepy old woodland cabin, while weekending away with a group of old friends who haven't met up since....This journal has a very nice feel to it and the paper is wonderful to write on. The only issue is, using a rubber/eraser on the pages will remove the antique effect. It's not a major problem for me and I was able to cover the lighter area left behind by using an old tea bag and a little fine Ash. I initially had an issue writing on the back of each page where the binding stap attaches to the cover. A bit of card placed behind the page you're writing on solves the problem, which quickly dissapears due to the heavy weight paper.I love the feel, smell and look of this journal. When they say "leather cover", they mean just that - a strip of thick buffalo hide. I will be ordering more as gifts this Yule.

I bought this because it had such good reviews and it was nice, but on arrival I found that the paper was quite dark and wasn’t suitable for my purpose. I wanted to use it for botanical sketches and watercolour paintings. The photos of the journal showed lighter paper and that is what I was hoping for but as a handmade product there is obviously a degree of individuality. I think it would be good for writing in. In addition the paper was quite fibrous and did not feel like it had been pressed between rollers like papers that I have used previously. But it did feel like cotton paper. The leather was lovely and it was very nicely made and I was sad that it didn’t suit my purpose and that is the only reason I sadly withheld one star.

Can’t get over how great this note book is, hand made and real leather, looks like it came straight out of an Indiana Jones movie.
