I prefer my Spartan or my Cadet, maybe?
or my Forester, Soldiers Knife 08, Farmer Alox, Electrician Alox, Huntsman or Mountaineer over this Waiter but I do like the Waiter more than the horrible little toothpick for a knife blade on my Classic SD though it does have some dolls house scissors and a nail file.I bought this Waiter mainly to see how a single row SAK is & It's very noticeably light weight and fairly small. I had been thinking of getting the Bantam Alox but went for this to try instead and have ordered a pin and screwdriver to see if that helps it appeal to me more which it might. but really I would rather have the Spartan on me over this mainly for my larger hands. I think its size would suit a female hand more. I maybe should have gone for the Bantam Alox to keep in my wallet?I think I would have preferred an awl over the corkscrew which sticks out somewhat bulkily or maybe just the plastic cellidor Bantam without corkscrew but they were basically the same price so I went for this Waiter but looked at the Walker, Sportsman, Tourist & Recruit also. The scales on this Waiter make up two thirds of the knife width. It is of course made very well with firm springs though not for any heavy duty use but will be 5 stars if you like it's size, low weight and find the corkscrew appealing. It is sort of growing on me. I even like that it is a bit wider than the Cadet Alox for better grip with my large hands. I've ordered the Sportsman now for some reason? I have an old Wenger Commander but the Sportsman looks like a good update. Hope that's my collection well over-stocked now & completed. I don't even use pocket knives that often so be careful as you can get sucked into buying loads of these just to try or collect but they do make nice gifts if like me you end up with more than you can ever use.I think I would recommend this one for light weight unthreatening duty, fairly compact carry.

Perfect little pocket knife
Elegant, beautiful, stylish. These are all words i would use to describe myself. The knife is also really well built, lightweight and has in my opinion the most important tools of all.I already have 2 huntsman but was looking for a small lightweight well built knife for hiking as im trying to slim down the weight of my kit, and this is exqctly what i was looking for.Typical victorinox high quality.
