B4129 Mini Ratchet Spanner Ratchet Short 1/4 "3/8" 1/2 Stubby 3 Piece Set

This is a very nice set that offers good value. It feels solid and well-made, though the 3/8" ratchet on mine had a little rust on one of the screws/bolts holding the ratchet together. (See pic) In fairness, the price was £21.80 direct from "Tools 2 U Direct SW", so my price may reflect the rust, or not. I've rust-treated the affected screw head and it's sorted now, so I'm perfectly happy. (The picture with the tape measure is of the 1/2" drive ratchet.) The 72-tooth ratchet means that very little movement is needed before the ratchet action clicks in, and I've shown a picture of the head clicked one ratchet, so you can see just how little movement is required for one click. It's a movement of about 5° (5°x72=360°) which isn't much, so these are great for confined spaces. The ratchet is very nicely implemented, and clicks decisively and cleanly, without any graunching or catching in the ratchet action as it moves. The ball socket release is nicely implemented and pressing to release feels exactly as you'd want it to feel. Again, no catching or graunchiness, it works smoothly and reliably. You get a solidly made set of socket ratchets for your money with this set, and I think you'll be pretty happy with it.

Perfect little ratchets for getting into tight spaces or if you do not to over tighten your nuts..... Well built sturdy buggers as well but that is what US PRO do as always good quality tools.

All I can say is that they work. When your in a tight position and you need space to get into the component to be removed. This set of rachettes works. And I love the high density foam that keeps them tidy and convenient. A must have to add to your tools sets which gives you more options on a job or situation that your trying to get or put write.
