Yes. I used it as an "up-standing" to finish off my kitchen worktops and the wall tiles. Silicon mastic seals the joins. I have it behind the sink unit and it seems to be OK.

Had the same problem so we cut pieces to size (2 people) and straightened pieces using own strength - got near enough flat so used "no nails" adhesive (plenty) and went on a treat by pushing firmly. After 3 months still flat and secure. Good luck

I agree it's around 5 or 6mm deep and I used it to fill an uneven gap between upvc frame and the wooden window sill which I glued with a no more nails type glue. Only issue I had was because it arrives coiled up tightly it's difficult to flatten it out fully prior to cutting and fitting......had to weight it down in several places to ensure adhesion.
