This is the first Neil Gamin book I ever read & I fell in love his writing after finishing it. I bought this copy for my Boyfriend for Christmas one year because we are both books nerds & love to read. He really enjoyed it. I recommend this book to anyone. It such a sweet story & I love Gamins writing style.

Enjoyable
My younger brother is in a book club and this is the book that was chosen.. He didn't like it at first and so I bought the book so we could read it together. We both enjoyed the book!

Good read
My daughter really enjoyed this book. She said there were a few points where it lagged which is the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5. She's 12, but I believe this book would appeal to a pretty broad age range.

Four versions of Graveyard Book all worth seeing
It's wonderful to be able to obtain the US version, the UK version, and the graphic novelization and compare them with the audio version (by the author).

The paperback edition is pulp.
The paperback edition that I bought is pulp. Meant to be read once and then thrown away. I was hoping that "paperback" meant "_trade_ paperback," but I guess that's not how it works. I should have spent the extra $3 for the hardcover edition. Awesome story B.T.W. But then, it's by Neil Gaiman, so you already knew that.

Absolutely wonderful book, it's dark, but still an amazing story to read.

Fear is contagious. You can catch it. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to say they're scared for the fear to become real. This was my first book by Neil Gaiman, and I am really glad that I picked The Graveyard Book . I loved this book! Neil Gaiman's way of storytelling is very beautiful and captivating;I was pulled into the story from the very beginning. The story is very emotional and moving,a bit dark sometimes, but overall a light read. The Graveyard Book is a story about a little boy, whose family is killed, and is raised in a graveyard by ghosts. He is named "Nobody Owens",also known as Bod.He isn't allowed to leave the graveyard because it's not safe for him to go out as there is someone who is still looking for him. Even though he is far away from the real world, his life is no less than any normal person's;There are ghosts who tutors him,he has ghosts as parents,he has a guardian named Silas(and Miss Lupescu),he also have many friends in that graveyard, and also a friend outside the graveyard,a girl named Scarlett. It's a journey of a little boy,who then turns into a young man and decides to face the person who killed his family. “You're alive, Bod. That means you have infinite potential. You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you can change the world, the world will change. Potential. Once you're dead, it's gone. Over. You've made what you've made, dreamed your dream, written your name. You may be buried here, you may even walk. But that potential is finished.” Ghosts are supposed to be creepy and scary, right? But why did I love them in this book? Well, they give best of advices for any problems, they are friendly rather than terrifying, there is a poet ghost who could be very helpful if you think you are in love, and no,there isn't any romance in this book, but he would give you advice anyway! There are many other memorable characters in this book.Even though Scarlett appeared only few times in the book, she was one of my favorite characters. I don't think there is anything in this story which isn't likeable. The story was simple and the ending was also quite obvious ,but Neil Gaiman's writing took it to the whole new level. I am definitely reading more books by Neil Gaiman in future!

This book will give joy to anyone who likes reading no matter what age! It’s quirky and fun. Make you feel all the feels. Gaiman offers us a wonderfully intricate story sprinkled with fantasy as per usual. I can’t count the times I’ve read and reread it! Careful if this is for a young reader some scenes are a little blunt, though I read it pretty young and don’t remember being as horrified as I was when I read it last, age 30. I guess my understanding shifted.

No lo he leido aún, espero que el autor lo haya escrito bien. La letra es bonita y grande, se puede leer bien sin gafas, páginas agradables al tacto.
