Great bench sander for the price. Well packaged for shipping. Easy to set up, instruction manual provides clear instruction. Motor appears powerful enough for most sanding needs.. Motor speed is constant and not variable . 12 month warranty can be extended to 36 months if you register product on the Skil website. Caution: Both belts run concurrently, so when using and focused on the horizontal belt, just be sure not to have any loose clothing near the disk below to get caught, because you won't see it coming!. Overall great sander.

I use a small hand held orbital sander a lot. This benchtop belt sander allows for faster work and allows for flatter surface. This brand has served me well. I'm happy to have it,. Good price to

I’m satisfied with quality and performance, given the price point. Sanding belt changing and tracking are quick and simple; however, having to use an Allen wrench to remove the guide plate and/or adjust the belt angle is time consuming and tedious…not at all user friendly. Keep good track of the Allen bolts if/when they’re removed for configuration changes!
