Worked well with full bars in two different countries for me.
The card works well. Just pop it into your phone Sim slot and it works in the country as advertise. I put my phone into airplane mode and when I landed turn off airplane and it was ready to connect, no other set up needed, and it worked perfectly with full bars in Japan and South Korea for me.

Chip worked as intended, provided internet access during most of my trip and allowed me to access whatsapp and gmail, however it stoped working when reached 9.5 GB of data used, which is about 30% below the advertised 15 GB combined social media and data package.

Some of data access is rerouted through hk
Data access is good but due to it rerouting through hk(Chinese) some of apps not working properly such as ChatGPT and Amex apps doesn’t recognize my iPhone so it forced to 2nd verification. My yahoo website shows Chinese but it difficult changing to EnglishReceived Chinese updates from SIM card company but no idea what the instructions/information about it

Works in Japan and South Korea
Bought this for a family vacation to Japan and South Korea from December 14 to 28, 2024. Worked once I turned on data roaming. For Japan, it uses SoftBank and worked in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. For South Korea, it uses SK Telecom and worked in Seoul and Incheon.
