Burn Notice - The Complete Series [DVD] [2014]

It's an amazing release. Every episode in one box. It includes the "fall of sam max" dvd!!!I will be honest I was scared when I have read that only seasons 1-2 are pal and 3-7+fall of sam, are ntsc since I don't have region free dvd player but all it is, is that the dvds are still region 2 meaning they will play on any pal dvd player (in my case ps3) but the video output will be ntsc, meaning if your tv doesn't support this format you just won't see anything (which If you have hd tv should not be problem)But on to the dvd review, it's great. The quality of the video could have been better if it was a blu ray release but it's still great.All the bonus features are great for me Cos I'm a fan but I would not say they're a selling point for casual watchers as they're not that entertaining but they're informative!

This is one of those shows that's smart funny sexy he'll it's just one darn he'll of a spitfire this is a must have an at a good price too excellent cast from start to end you'll want to know if our heroes make it out alive an happy plot he an ex agent who gets burned but he needs to find out why cause it's the only thing his good at an he is good at what he does can be a bit over the top but that's a good thing let me tell u so great yourself u definitely deserve it wish I could give it then stars

Burn notice was always my favourite program on TV. You can imagine my delight when I took delivery of all seven series. The only problem I have is with the first series recording. You can hardly hear what's being said I have to turn the volume up to the max. Recording quality is terrible. It could be a bad batch I don't know. Slowly going through the other DVDs. Apart from that, burn notice, when it aired in its time was the best thing on TV. In my opinion, it's still the best. Thank you Amazon.

You kind of expect the formulaic stories, the interaction between the attractive lead actors, and wonder at the inventiveness of the script writers, coming up with different plot lines for each episode. What one doesn't expect is the idiocy of the people who decided to tale each episode with a string of legal notices in several languages. Honest: those notices, which have no relevance to home viewers, if they need to be shown at all, need no more than two or three frames, once, at the end of a disc. A bit like ponderous warnings of how much the American courts can fine you for stealing intellectual property. Have them by all means, but keep it to a couple of frames we barely notice. Then there's the disc menu: It would be more sensible that one only has to set the audio and subtitles up once per disc, and that, if watching discrete episodes, the end of one should move to the start of the next.Apart from these niggles which make the business of watching several episodes one after the other ('binge' watching) tedious, the picture quality is not that good. Very grainy and 'soft', compared with what could be achieved by Blu-ray, or even modern SD discs.But I don't let these things spoil my viewing pleasure.

I really love the series so had to order the complete series But when I opened it I found a bit of damage to one of the cases

I took a punt on this purely because of the great Bruce Campbell. But this show drew me in by the fantastic chemistry off all the team members and the convincing bad guys. The comedic timing is very good and each season gets darker and deeper and the stakes get higher with each season. The film "fall of sam axe" is included and a typical Campbell film which is great fun
