Excellent - A Must Try To Believe It Mouse
CSL - TM137U optical mouse / vertical model | ergonomic design - prevention against mouse arm/tennis arm (RSI syndrome) - particularly arm-friendly | wireless | 5 buttons This is an excellent Vertical Mouse. I was going to get another Anker Wireless Vertical Mouse (also excellent) - but then I thought "How do I tell them apart on the desk." I then came across what looked like the 'same mouse' - only from CSL. And it was cheaper - definitely worth the risk. The CSL is almost identical to the Anker - or perhaps the Anker is almost identical to the CSL? Differences are 1. no branding name on the surface of the CSL 2. The wheel hub of the the CSL is shiny black while the Anker wheel is shiny chrome 3. The palm surface area of the CSL is a nice flat matt black with a great feel while, also with a great feel, the Anker is a sort of Pearl black finish. Holding the two side by side you can see the different "shades of black" - both look good. 4. The CSL came in an excellent "white box" - the Anker in a retail package - both great for their purpose ... but as a consumer I'd rather have the money saved by not having a 'retail attractive box' to throw away, than pay extra for it. 5. The CSL came with 2 AAA batteries to get you started. The 'mouse' tilt / angle will help with people having wrist / lower arm problems when using a 'normal mouse'. I noticed an almost immediate 'relieving' of the problems I was having (see Anker review). The only change I'd make to either of them would be to 'steepen' the palm face angle a bit more - but that may not suit everyone. If you are at all 'iffy' about trying a vertical mouse this is the model to try - you will find it quite easy, and quick, to re-learn your grip. At this price (including postage) you'd be silly not to give it a try - and it's wireless so no cluttering cables, and the wireless receiver is a tiny usb stub that requires no setting up - I use mine in Windows 7 and Linux Mint, laptop and desktop, without problems - it just worked. The only downside to both these vertical mice is the thumb operated web page forward / backward buttons are not right for my thumb. I never use them so I don't have a problem with this. The wheel works well, right & left mouse clicks are good, the body is easy and light to hold and move - together with the improved wrist angle that's enough for me. I don't know why it took so long for me to try this type of mouse, I should have tried them years ago - perhaps it was the high cost of the earlier ones that put me off - too much to 'risk'. How long the batteries will last I don't know - but a good feature of both CSL & Anker is that they have an 'auto-off' after a certain time of non-use; a real battery saver. A single clicks powers it up again (earlier wireless mice I've had I was always leaving 'on' - not good). All in all an excellent, and very sensible, vertical mouse at an excellent price.

Great mouse, regardless of how often you use a computer
To start, I would like to say that I like this mouse A LOT. I was dubious about getting one as I was worried about whether or not I could use it after using a 'traditional' computer mouse for so many years. Being an IT professional myself, I use a computer for 12 hrs a day and as you can imagine this can take it's toll on one's wrist and elbow. Regardless of how many times you release the mouse and rotate your wrist, shake your arm or simply hang it to your side, there is always a certain tension running up it. On of my collegaues purchased one of these before i did and he swore by it so despite my reservations I took the plunge! Installation of the mouse is easy as it's Plug and Play (in Windows 7 at least). The drivers do take some time to install as they are downloaded from Windows Update so be prepared to wait 5 - 10 mins for them to be setup correctly. However once this is done you're good to go. On top of the mouse is a larger button which adjusts the speed of the cursor. This is denoted by a flashing red light on the mouse on each press of it - one flash = slow, 2 flashes = medium (my setting) and 3 flashes = fast. Near the light you have 2 more buttons which are used for web browsing forward and backwards between web pages. Not essential for some people but a nice addition all the same. Finally you have the traditional left and right mouse buttons as well as a scroll wheel. As for usage I've had this mouse over a month now and can't honestly believe how I lived without it! My reservations about adjusting to it were quashed within the first 10 minutes - it feels as natural as a 'traditional' mouse only now without the niggling pain in my wrist or elbow. It is extremely comfortable and with this in mind, as the title says, great for any type of user whether you're a heavy user or a casual user. The only thing to note is that there isn't a left handed version available at the time of writing but i hope the manufacturer will address this in the future as it seems a shame for all of you lefties to miss out! I can't comment on battery life yet as i haven't had to change them so far but will update my reveiw when i do. But overall a great mouse that really does have health benefits too - Highly recommended.

Good and comfortable
Mouse received as promised. Packaging is good, and the mouse fits very comfortably in my hand. It feels far more natural to hold a mouse at this angle than a normal mouse. I had read that some people find their hand dragging on the desk because of the angle the mouse is at, and I can see that this could be an issue for those with big hands, but it seems to be ok thus far. It is made with a satin finish, which, while not a soft-touch material, is pleasant in the hand and promises not to get sticky on hot days. Took it straight out the box, put the two (included) AAA batteries in, plugged in the USB, and it worked immediately on my Windows 8.1 machine. My only two negative observations are that the click wheel feels a little loose on the spindle; it has a little left/right play in it, whereas I would have hoped for it to be more solidly mounted, and that I had no idea what the "DPI" button was for (it adjusts the sensitivity of the mouse, apparently) - the included instructions were unclear. Certainly, as I have been struggling with a very painful forearm for some months now, I am hopeful that taking away the need to hold my hand like a claw while using a regular mouse will aleviate this once and for all. I liked it enough to buy an extra one for my home PC, and a third for a co-worker who also struggles with RSI from excessive mouse-usage.
