These are great socks. I wear adult female size 4.5 shoes, and the Large fit perfectly. They are very soft and cushy, but not bulky and not scratchy. They are thicker than a dress sock, but less than a crew sock. I can comfortably wear them with any shoe. I wash and air dry, but the pair that accidentally went into the dryer did not shrink. These are ankle socks, not calf socks, with good stretch. I liked them so much I ordered another set. Some have commented that both socks are marked "L". Mine are too, but I think that stands for Large, not Left. I recommend.

These are a great sock for everyday school sock to in a boot sock! I ordered another set my daughter loved them so much. Strong quality. Has been holding up well through many, many days of wear and wash. My kids even wear these as socks in their ski boots!

Really fun socks for my daughter. These socks are really thick. We live in a cold climate so they are great for winter. I am not sure she will wear them when it gets warmer out because they will probably be too hot. Definitely worth the money.

I was looking for warmer socks for my 3.5 year old son for winter in Seattle (around 35-50F). I purchased a set and really liked the warmth and thickness of these socks. My son loves them, too. They keep his feet warm, especially when he wears rain boots.I noticed they may have shrunk a bit after washed and dried 2-3 times, which actually worked perfectly for us, as I got the size for 4-7years old and now they are just slightly bigger for my son. They do stretch nicely and seem sturdy to me. I just purchased another set to rotate, as my son only picked these to wear now.

My daughter loves these but they were a little big for her. Additionally, the extra material (presumably to act as insulation) made it so she can't wear them with her regular shoes. Given the size issue, she mostly wears them as around-the-house socks.

Got them for my toddler to wear for nursery with the wellies. Theese socks are very warm. He likes the cars designs on them. They sit just above his ankles. Will buy again next size for next winter.A little bit thick to wear with his usual size shoes, shoes feel a bit tight but I am just using next size shoes to solve the problem.

these definitely run small. based on reviews, I chose the 8-12 size for my four year old, and they fit her perfectly.she was complaining of cold feet during outdoor play at school, and these have solved that problem completely, so mission accomplished. but, they aren't holding up super well. lots of threads coming off of them, and pilling already after only a few wears.hopefully they last the season. they wont fit her any longer than that anyway.
