Works well. Can hardly hear the motor . Easy to put a D size battery in and hangs itself well along with a hook to put the ball on .

Like the 1 star reviews, it seemed to break very quickly. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong, but it seems the hole in the metal plate that the rotating cylinder passes through (under the plastic cover) was too small. The little engine could power through for a while but eventually the battery would say no, or the cylinder would wedge itself so tight it would just get stuck. I removed the metal plate (with pliers and a hammer) and now it's working like a dream. (The metal plate was just there to hold the gears close together. You can make sure they stay snuggly engaged by taping the mechanism to the plastic cover instead). It's so cheap, if you're unlucky and do have this problem, I'd say it's worth the effort. Especially if the battery lasts as long as some say!

My expectations weren't high but this little motor packs an amazing punch and is remarkably robust. I purchased this last minute to make the vanes of a large windmill rotate on a windmill piece of farmyard scenery for a stage set for a play. This wasn't a small windmill, we're talking 3 metres high, and the diameter of the windmill vanes was about 1 meter made from lightweight material but it wasn't properly weight balanced so didn't rotate uniformly. I had to mount the motor horizontally not vertically like you would with a mirror ball. The motor looked fairly cheap and my expectations weren't high tbh, as I wasn't using it for it's designed intention. Being powered by only one D cell battery didn't inspire much confidence either as to how long the motor would last with the unusual usage. But, for 4 days and 4 performances of 3+ hours this little thing kept going. Exceed my expectations for something so cheap. I did experience some issues with the power switch, as reported in other reviews so left it switched on and just disconnected the battery to stop it. Overall, worked brilliantly and was commented on that our windmill had proper spinning vanes.

When it arrived it didn't work at all, I tried to return it but was told I would have to pay for postage and it cost more than the item itself to ship back. So I had no choice but to open it up and try fix it myself, it is made up of very cheap plastic and the cogs used to spin it are cheap and haphazardly placed so it is very easy to break. Also was soldered badly so I redid the solder and replaced the cogs with better support myself and it finally works. Do not trust this company though, very badly made with the cheapest budget they could and I can't beleive I was told I would have to pay return postage.

Worked exactly as hoped for. Only rotates at one speed which can be a bit fast depending on the vibe, but really easy to set up and use

Very simple - just add a D cell and off you go. hanging loop one end, hook for your mirror ball the other. Used with a 20cm ball, no issues. Would buy again (If I ever needed a mirror ball outside in the rain again, when a mains powered motor would not be a good idea. Which I intend not to.. ) Perfect for domestic use..

Good for the price. Didn’t realise battery’s went included which was annoying however it’s likely I just didn’t read the description. Turns a bit to fast but does the job for what I wanted it for.

Ho aganciato palla (mirrorbal) con diametro 30cm. Peso quasi 2kg. Tiene bene . Batteria durata abbastanza lunga.

Vom Preis her ist der Motor ok, vielleicht ein wenig wackelig, der erste kam defekt an on/off Schalter.Der Motor wird mit einer Batterie betrieben. Die Umdrehungen sind nicht zu schnell/langsam für eine Spiegelkugel.Nur für den privaten Gebrauch.

I ordered 2 of these and will be ordering several more. I love these motors for my Halloween props.
