Dreamy Family
I love the fictional version of the Dubois family. They obviously love each other. Brigitte is hilarious. I love this show so much but wish it had ended earlier than it did. Series 5 sees the show entering some sort of believability issues, especially when the dreams enter Joe's reality. Farcical at times. Wish they'd done more with Joe's Bipolar boss. Enjoyed Lee Scanlon's journey but felt that it was ended too quickly, too nicely. Patricia Arquette is superb as Alison. Her love for the role appears genuine. Just think it should have ended sooner than it did

Don't Delay, buy it today.
I've been an unwitting silent fan of this series since it started. At first I stumbled across it. I then became active in looking out for it; however, it fell off my radar and I couldn't remember the names of the characters or the series. With lots of will power and much poor research techniques I found it and wasted no time in getting series 1 and then later on series 2. It took me another year to start looking for series 3. I then saw series 7 being advertised but couldn't understand why they wanted nearly £50 for it. Two weeks later I realised it was £50 for the complete 1-7 series. Of course, I bought the whole set of 7 and this still worked out cheaper than just buying from 3-7 (so I have two sets of Series 1 and 2 - but that's fine with me). I've read reviews that series 7 gets weird and that it's not good! - but I think it is still fantastic and it doesn't just recycle the same old style of information and scenes that you have already seen through series 1 to 5; the screen writes actually brings each episode up a further notch or two. By the ending of series seven you have certainly got your eyes and attention glued to the screen and when it's all finished you are ready to sit for another 50+ hours and watch it all again. This certainly is re-watchable and I've entertain family members who have certainly expressed a wish to see the other episodes. A VERY GOOD BUY.

Perfect
No complaints on the dvds, pity is how flimsy the cases are made these days broke one while trying to remove from the Box. Feels so thin, so other than being carful taking it out the product and seller are spot on.

Better than i thought it would be
I'll be honest i bought this series because, (1) it was cheap, (2) nowt on telly. Well i'm glad i did, for a show i always avoided when it was shown in the early '00's i was pleasantly surprised that i enjoyed it. Patricia arquette is great and the family scenes really make the show, great series.

Exceptional Series!
The casting of Patricia Arguette in this role at first confused me. Not because she is a bad actress, but because this character required more than I'd seen her give in other performances. After episode one I'd changed my mind. This series has fantastic family scenes; to such an extent that you could quite easily see this group of people as a family. No "The Partridge Family" doesn't come to mind.Real issues are dealt with, serious and laugh out loud comedy, coupled alongside spiritual and very dark often gruesome scenarios that hook the viewer and don't let go until the job is done. This is a dark series without question, but wonderfully balanced indeed the idea of this series shouldn't work, but it does and brilliantly well and at the price this is going at right now it's well worth the money.I've seen every episode and this comes Highly Recommended!

KEPT THE WIFE QUIET FOR A WHILE
Bought this for the wife as she kept seeing it advertised on one of the sky channels but kept missing it.Took her about two weeks to get through the lot, but at least she was quiet for that time. :-)

I'd seen lots of odd episodes but it made so much more sense to see everything in order and I hadn't seen anything of the last 3 series so was good to know how it ended
I devoured all 7 series in 2 weeks. I'd seen lots of odd episodes but it made so much more sense to see everything in order and I hadn't seen anything of the last 3 series so was good to know how it ended. When you watch so many in such a short space of time you do spot it getting a bit repetative and slightly unbelievable that Alison would continue to pursue every dream 100% when she had misinterpreted things badly in the past but still enjoyable if you suspend disbelief. Don't bother with the material, unbelievably sacharin.
