This kit came as described and was packed in washcloth. I'm not sure if that was the intention, but it was a nice touch. Yes, you could probably assemble something of this nature, but it was nice to have all of these items in one place instead of having to shop for each on separately. I'm putting this in my car emergency kit, as you never know when you might need one of these items on the road, or in an emergency situation where you have to leave your home quickly (I have homes in both Tornado Alley and Hurricane country).

While this is a handy kit for stowing in a glovebox or backpack, I'd rather it wasn't taped closed. Upon opening one of them, the tape tore part of the fabric off the hand cloth.

perfect kit for the go bag. I have added a few other items and upgraded a couple nut I bought one of these for each bag for the family.

This simple kit had everything i was looking for and for a great price. The couple of extra maxi pads made this the one i wanted over the others I have looked at, for the same price or more. Even if a lady using the kit doesn't need the pads it never hurts to have some extra emergency fire tinder.
