got a boom 3 under the tv and this is great as it mean i can leave it there and used it as a speaker for the tv, but also means i can move it to other rooms easy for music there too.

The charging base is the same diameter as the UE MegaBlast so it looks like it was made for the speaker when the speaker is on charge, but I suspect that on a narrower device it might look like a bit of an afterthought.There is an indicator light that pulses when charging and lights solid when fully charged making it easy to know when the speaker is ready for use.The supplied D ring, which is necessary on the MegaBlast, is low profile so doesn't affect the ability for the MegaBlast to stand correctly when not on the charging base.The base is thicker than the genuine UE charging base which could be a problem if you have a case for both the speaker and the charging base, as it might not fit.My only criticism of changing base is the fact that it is fitted with a Micro USB connector and not a USB-C which will become the standard very soon.

It wasn’t clear whether or not a separate charging device would have to be boughtso I was annoyed at having to return this charging dock.

Una base di ricarica per poter utilizzare in tutta comodità i miei due speaker UE, il Boom 3 e il Megaboom 3, sempre carichi e pronti ad essere presi e portati poi in giro. Questo evita ogni volta di dover inserire il cavo microUSB nello speaker: quando lo devo fare devo prima aprire lo sportellino, verificare in che senso inserire il cavo microUSB e poi assicurarmi che sia in ricarica. Ora il cavo microUSB va in questa basetta e non ci penso più, non ho alcun problema, anzi ho anche una USB aggiuntiva per ricaricare altro!Non è un prodotto premium, sembra fatto di plastica piuttosto leggera, ma il funzionamento è impeccabile e il prezzo giusto, molto contenuto rispetto all'accessorio originale della UE.Per me un prodotto da 5 stelle piene, visto che ci sono anche in dotazione un adattatore per i modelli più vecchi e il cavo microUSB.

Das ist besonders praktisch, um genau im Blick zu behalten, wann die Box vollständig aufgeladen ist.Leider bleibt die Box während des Ladevorgangs dauerhaft eingeschaltet, also schaltet sich nicht durch Time-out ab. Das ist zwar schade, aber ich verstehe, dass dies nicht am Ladegerät selbst liegt, sondern an der Technik der Box liegt. Dies beeinträchtigt jedoch nicht die Leistung des Ladegeräts.Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden mit dieser günstigen Alternative und empfehle sie gerne weiter, vor allem für diejenigen, die eine bequeme und zuverlässige Möglichkeit suchen, ihre UE Boom 3 oder Megaboom aufzuladen.

Hace tiempo estuve mirando el de la marca, pero era demasiado caro, la verdad que tenía ganas de tener uno más que nada por comodidad, ya que lo dejabas en la base y se cargaba y luego te lo puedes llevar donde quieras y volverlo a dejar para que siga cargando, es cierto que es por vaguería y no abrir la tapita para la carga, pero si lo tienes en una mesita está muy chulo dejarlo ahí.Funciona muy bien, en mi caso es con el Mega boom 3, simplemente conectarlo a cualquier cable microUSB o el que viene y listo, colócalo sobre la base y ya está, importante, veras que se enciende la luz de la base, pero el Mega boom no muestra ninguna luz, para ver que carga, abre la tapa de carga del Mega boom y veras que parpadea débilmente, eso quiere decir que está cargando.Es algo que no es necesario, pero depende como sea tu uso del altavoz puede convenirte tenerlo o no.Saludos.
