Tropical Dudu Osun African Black Soap

I only use this product on my face and it has helped my face stay clear of pimples. It has all natural ingredients that are always praised as being good for your skin. I like it and my skin always feels clean after using it. However it can be quite drying so I wouldn't recommend using it everyday.Most people that I know who have used it dislike the smell especially because it is pretty strong. I think it could smell better but it is bearableThe packaging was fine (nothing special) and it was delivered in good time.

Love this product. Been using this for a couple of months. I have oily skin and have trouble getting my pores clean without using harsh abrasive products to get into the pores. This soap is great, it has a very rapid acting astringent effect which gets into the pores quickly. It is a very strong product however, so if you have sensitive skin or dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it. Even with my oily skin I only use it very briefly on my face and rinse off after about 20 seconds. I also cover my face with a cream cleanser first before applying the soap - just as added protection for my skin. Gives me smooth, even skin and I actually find that my face is more able to retain water once I have used this soap, better than any other product i have ever used - and this helps to create younger looking, dewy skin. I also use organic moisturisers as much as possible.

I ordered this as i have sensitive dry skin and am always on the look out for different natural products to try.I have tried african black soap before noteably- 'Shea by Nature's' liquid shower gel (which is superb and highly recommended), but this is an entirely different experience, and not a good one.Firstly the smell is incredibly overpowering (i could smell it when the postman handed me the parcel!)The smell is ok if you like artificial musky floral smells,which i don't, but just SO off- puttingly chemical that i am too scared to use it incase i have an allergic breakout like the previous reviewer.Shea by natures product's are alot gentler and without the harsh smell, so i will be sticking to theirs in future.

Saw this as a product on the apprentice and thought I would try it. A real chunky bar which lathers ok although the water is brown. Makes the skin feel smooth until its rinsed off then my skin felt dry. Im hoping it will help my teenage daughters skin blemishes on her face and arms.

I had never hear of this soap until looking on Amazon for something for my Psoriasis. Thought I would give it a try and SO glad I did. Smells lovely and fresh and has helped a lot with 'itching and scaling'. I have very sensitive skin so haven't, and wouldn't, try it on my face, ( I never use soap on my face) but used it everywhere else.The only drawback if you can call it that, is that it does 'run' brown, But doesn't stain and so easy just to rinse off the bath, sink etc. I would definitely recommend it, and can only speak AS I find.Will keep using it now.

I bought this product because I hear is good for cleaning your skin. I'm using different natural oils (argan oil,primrose oil... for various skin problems (stretch marks,psoriasis,dry skin) so I needed something that cleanses my skin before applying the oils.I came across a lady that reviewed this soap.She said her skin felt much cleaner that any soap she has ever used.I felt the same way and It makes you think, why modern soaps don't clean so well?.I wash my hands about 10 times everyday (liquid soaps,traditional soaps,washing dish soaps...) NOTHING has left my hands as clean as this.So far I haven't had any allergic reaction to it. If you have dry skin I will advise to use it and put moisturiser creams or oils immediately after.

I was interested in this product because it was both new & different to anything I have previously purchased.When it arrived , on time, I wanted to use it as quickly as possible.It certainly lived up to my expectations.

My initial order didn't arrive ,I contacted afro cosmetics immediately and they replied straight away to my email ,they re-sent the order which I received within a few days ,every email I sent them they replied to swiftly ,even though I had a problem with my order afro cosmetics rectified it ,I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again the dudu osun soap is simply beautiful and leaves the skin soft and smooth and is also made from 100% natural ingredient's which is an added bonus .
