Silverline Scrubbing Brush 215mm (8") (969750), Brown

Great brush. Bought this as an add-on item, and also picked up one from Wilko to compare. This brush was visibly better made, with straighter bristles and a slightly longer handle, one end of which is more pointed to get into corners better. Did a great job on my shower tiles (actually, it was me and my elbow grease that did the great job, but this brush assisted significantly)! It does shed a few bristles, and it also turns the suds brown from the brown bristles for the first few uses, but this rinsed away fine.

It's a basic scrubbing brush but sometimes that's just the thing you need. It does the job and is not expensive.

Very sturdy and just the way I wanted. My hair is long and tends to fall everywhere despite my best effort tying it up all the time. Most of the house is carpeted and even Hoover doesnt seem to get the hair so I use this front top to bottom and get all my hairs and other mini dirts off the carpet.Just note that while I was scrubbing my carpets, I didn't realise until the end that the bristles have torn my finger skins next to the nail and also the bristles are coming off bit by bit every use.

I've only needed this once since purchase, and it served me admirably.Only a few bristles detached during a wet scrubbing of a door mat, which I consider a good sign. I'd expect a few, and a few is all I got.The bristles are good and stiff, and they're densely packed.The handle is a decent enough chunk of wood, with no rough or sharp bits.I much prefer natural bristles to synthetic since they don't degrade (so much) and weaken, or melt when used in combination with very hot water.This seems like a perfectly good scrubbing brush, and only time will tell, how long it remains so.I'll return to update this review if it fails me unacceptably (quickly or under minimal duress).

Quality seems OK, I used it to scrub my walls with sugar soap to get off wallpaper paste. I ended up using a sponge instead.A couple of bristles came out, but nothing major. I'll keep it for scrubbing my driveway later I think.

Its old school, if your slightly in the older category you'll remember your gran scrubbing the floor with a hand held brush, well this is it hard as nails and gets the job done as long as you help it out with some good old fashioned elbow grease, or just picture Nora Batty.Great price, next day delivery and it did the job.

Trying to reduce our reliance on chemicals for general cleaning around this home. This is great for scrubbing floors, bathroom tiles, outside areas (especially patios and decking) and anything with stubborn stains, even clothes. This brush works well, with few loose bristles and a decent grip on the wooden handle. Combine this with a cheap toothbrush and you’re all set. Great results!
