The best 'budget' brush I've ever used
This has to be my favourite shaving brush. It's such a vital part of the shave that should never be underestimated. The synthetic brush head is fine and soft, but dense enough to create a brilliant lather and to raise stubble to assist in getting a closer, smoother shave. It looks and feels like a much more expensive brush and is really easy to clean. Faultless!

Function over comfort
Bluebeard generally does low budget shaving gear, some of the other stuff (razors etc.) didn't get great reviews but I needed a budget synthetic brush.I have a previous boar brush to compare this with.Craftmanship - The plastic handle seems sturdy although looks a bit cheap, if you care about aesthetics. I have used it for two weeks, almost daily, and only noticed around 3 hairs that came loose in the first week. It's a nice small size, big enough for good lathering but still a good size for travelling with.Lathering - Using arko soap on my face and in the bowl creates a thick and creamy lather, much better than that of my old boar brush. This is the best feature of synthetic brushes. It also holds lather extremely well meaning I don't have to top up between passes.Feel - The only problem is the tips of the fibres feel sharp, when using the arko stick on my face rubbing it in it was rough and not that great. I thought it might cause some skin irritation, but it didn't (I have sensitive skin so I doubt anyone will have this issue). If you use a scuttle/bowl it probably won't bother you.A good, budget, synthetic fibre brush. If you are vegan then I suggest saving up a little more and getting a muhle synthetic brush as they won't have the same problems. If you're not, then a badger Edwin Jagger is available for around the same price on amazon.tl; dr - A little uncomfortable but good lathering. Good brush for cheap vegans or those who like lather over aesthetics and comfort.

A gorgeous brush
I gave this to my husband when his badger had completely moullted. He is very pleased with it , though he says the soap does dribble down his arm a bit. That could be to do with the fact that I also replaced his standard shaving cream stick at the same time with a nice bowl of shaviing cream, so he has to apply the cream to the brush rather than to his chin.I think that's his problem, not yours. We love the fact that it really looks and feels like badger without having to go near a single badger ( who ,lets face it , are at present in for a lot of scapegoating).Well done- I'm really impressed with this brush.

Does the job well
Just finished my first ever DE shave solely using products from bluebeards revenge. Even though it took some getting used to it was one of the most comfortable shaves I've ever had. It took some time for the lather to form, but that's probably because of my (lack in) skill and the brush felt kind of nice on my skin even though my skin is as sensitive as they come (barbers words, not mine) The brush looks nice too, dried within minutes and for this price I'd say you'd have to look hard to find something better.

High quality
I am not an expert, since the only other brush I have is an Italian Proraso made with natural bristle. This Bluebeards brush is high quality, soft but elastic, does not come from a dead animal, lathers well, and does not lose its brush hairs. Maybe it is a bit too small and too expensive for what you get, and the handle is too plasticky, so I knock away one star.

Amazing for the price
looks great and works well. Unlike some of my £100+ badger brushes this has never shed a hair. Amazon had the best price for this that I could find.

Synthetic Shaving Brush
Thirty years ago I bought a nylon shaving brush which lasted and lasted. I never found another as good since then, but here we have The Bluebeards Revenge and I really like it. It is soft, lathers well, washes clean and no doubt will see me out. I have given only 4 stars because this brush should have a drying stand and I think the manufactures have been mean with what is a good product. Buy it, try it, love it.

Bluebeard shaving brush
I have been shaving for 50years and have tried many different makes of brush both cheap and expensive. Without a shadow of a doubt this Bluebeards brush is simply the best I have used. It is synthetic and slightly stiffer than the most expensive badger brush. I prefer a stiffer brush because it massages one's skin and helps the beard to stand out more. In short a complete success I only wish I'd discovered the make years ago.

Absoluter super Shaving Brush

Value buy for great performance
Price point compared to performance/quality make this an excellent buy. Whips up a lather in my cup like a demon.

Nice jack of all trades brush.
I've used a $10 boar brush, a few different badger brushes ranging from $40-$100, and a few synthetics ranging from $25 - $100. Every brush has its pros and cons. I've yet to find a brush that truly has it all. Perhaps the $300+ badgers do, but at the current time, I don't plan to drop that kind of cash to find out. In the sub $50 range, the synthetics I've tried come closest. The tips on the this brush are soft and feel great on the face. Yet, the shafts are still sturdy enough to provide a massaging/scrubbing effect that raises my whiskers and coats them with lather. Most synthetics seem to have this nice balance of features.People complain that synthetics don't absorb as much water as natural hairs. This is probably true. However the counter point is that synthetics will more easily release the water they do absorb. I find this whole discussion to miss the point. The real question is how well a brush creates a wet but still creamy and sturdy lather. This brush, like most synthetics I've tried, whips up a great lather very easily.Admittedly, this brush is not as nice as some of my other more expensive brushes. The most notable difference is that the fibres are simply not as densely packed. Most sub $50 synthetics I have seem to be lean in this department. However I will note that while this brush at first touch seems to be on par with some of the less expensive synthetics, when actually put to the test, the shorter loft did a good job of compensating for the relative lower density. In summary I think this brush offers great performance for the price, outside of the fact that it doesn't use products from animals that may or may not have been well treated. The cruelty free element of this brush is just gravy on a brush that is already a great value.

Il design e' accattivante, la qualita' meno
Il design e' accattivante, la qualita' non e' niente di speciale.Si trovano pennelli analoghi, ossia sintetici, (ma senza design accattivante) al supermercato per molto meno.
