I like the fact that it extends the range of the gate opener.

The antenna that came with my MM gate kit stopped receiving signals after 3 years. I replaced it with this antenna and I am back to being able to open the gate from inside my house which is about 300 ft from the antenna.

Haven't used it yet as I'm having problems installing the opener Looks good hopefully it works better than the included small antenna.Update installed doesn't increase range. Bought three,3 button remotes each one opens at different ranges,one of them I'm right at the gate,replace battery no difference.

After adding this to my Liftmaster gate opener control box, I had nothing but issues with the remote. I would press the remote 10-15 times before the gate would move regardless of how far away from the antenna I was, and sometimes the remote signal would not be picked up at all for a few days.I went back to the factory antenna and just added a long coax to move the antenna closer to the street, gate and remote work perfectly now. I would avoid this and stick with the factory antenna.

It helped to slightly extend the range but nowhere near what I was expecting or what was advertised... not really what I was expecting

Pretty light weight product. May not stand up well over time in TX sun. Not a standard size coax cable.Will find out over time.

My old antenna was broken by an Amazon delivery, so I bought this antenna and placed it where Amazon could not break it. I am able to put the internet up high which extends the range. The range is good and I can open the gate while driving up the street so that the gate is open when I get there.

Wow what a difference! Without the antenna my Ghost gate controller was pretty finicky. I had to be within so many feet and at just the right angle while in my car. About 80% of the time, I would have to pull forward a little bit or back up a little bit for the remote to make contact. Not anymore. Problem solved.
