Paint Pad Pro - The No 1 Paint Pad Decorating Set - As Seen on TV

I have just painted a room in no time with no splash or drips and what's more it used less paint!As I have used the old type pads before I can give the newcomers some advise before using...it will help if you add a little water to the emulsion(as stated on the tin) as this will ease the spread and also make sure you click the pads in firmly all round as this seems to be an issue for some people.I have found the new shapes really useful for cutting in and the pads are really easy to clean too as they don't soak up paint and by the way try the small pad with gloss on the woodwork,it's great!

Very good coverage but makes a lot of mess and the pads kept falling off. Wouldn't buy it again

Awful product! - I have NEVER left a review on amazon before but feel I have to warn people about this product. Painting a house is already a stressful job and one that is always put off. If you were ONLY ABLE to use this product "paint pad pro" (pro my arse!) your house would have more paint on the floors, carpets and dogs than it would on the wall!Pads fall off, bits break off the base unit so no longer functioning, extension poles come apart (they are just slide together and very loose!) paint pod tray holds about 3 and a half strokes on the wall before you have to refill it.I was excited about getting this item, I thought, this is going to make painting my house so easy, clean and effortless - How Naive.Unless you want to create incredible long extravagant swear words and phrases that you never thought possible coming out of your mouth. DON't BUY IT!You'd be far better off using £1.99 rollers and brushes.

This would work ok,probably,on a plastered wall.But,on a dry lined wall,forget it! The paint soaks in on half a spread so you need to keep on going back to the roller tray to re-fill your pad. I have not used it on a plastered wall,so cannot comment on it. But,really,do not think about it on dry lined,plasterboard,walls. You would be better off using a brush.Also.I think I have to mention it,the small applicator kept falling off the large one. What a mess trying to put it back on.It happened more than once. Once it started,the only remedy I found,to avoid the horrendous mess I was getting myself into,was to leave it till the morning,when I washed off the paint on the applicator,and dried,then super glued the small applicator to the large one.Oh yes,another mess i got into,the paint pad fell off. Try putting that back on when you have just loaded it!! This too happened more than twice. The whole thing ended up filed,in the bin.

As for the product we ordered, it's terrible. The pad leaves streaks, scrapes paint off the wall when trying to cut in. My mum has been decorating for most of her life and she can't get on with this. The only thing it worked on to a certain degree was the ceilings. Avoid using it on walls! I had to repaint a wall 3 times!

Lets get one thing STRAIGHT !!!!!Half these reviewers giving one star reviews cannot be using the product properly and are not using the pad for its full potential.What they don't tell you is when you mix the paint just add around 20% of water to thin the paint out a little bit like i did and it glides with ease by using a Paint Kettel to get the right consistency, then pour into the Paint Pad Pro Tray.I did a whole wall using this method in around 10 minutes easy just like Tommy Walsh in the advert.If you use it with just paint on its own without slightly diluting it will not spread as advertised and you will feel like you are spreading Butter in Winter and you end up chucking it across the room!!!!When Used Properly it's a Great Product !!!

this tool is not as easy and perfect as you see on tv but i think i prefer it to a normal roller. the only thing i didn't like is doing the edge of the wall as it put little bits of paint on the other side of the wall where you don't want. i still had to use masking tape

Paintpad Pro is a great little painting outfit, The pads put the paint on walls very easily and no drips which is great for my stairs and hallway.Very easy to clean and store in the original box.Full marks. Would buy again if needed.Does what it says on the tin.....
