Carefully thought out and planned with thick cardboard bumpers on the bottom, styrofoam supports and every space utilized to cut down on unnecessary bulk while keeping the internals safe and padded. Everything comes individually wrapped right down to the 4 or 5 bags of lava rocks that come included! Folding out the legs is a quick pull tab on all three legs and are very stable vs competitors flimsy tubing. The propane tank line is unwound from its base and ran to the tank. They give you a LONG amount of line to hide the tank out of sight where it screws on with ease and zero guess work.Ignition is super easy. CLICK IN and you'll hear the propane enter the line "HISSSSSSS" then turn the knob to the left from the 1200 to the 0900 till you hear a loud click (PIEZO IGNITER) and PRESTO FLAME-O! Hold the button in for another 15 seconds to allow the thermo-coupler to heat up and then you are hands free! Set flame height and heat 0900 being the HIGHEST and 0600 being the lowest. (NOTE: If the flame will not stay when you let go after a full minute, the thermocoupler may be damaged or not touching. Contact Bluu's Amazing Customer Service Team. They walked me through some trouble shooting and afterwards sent me a brand new unit hassle free!)The INCLUDED lava rocks surround the bottom so the flames appear to be coming up beneath them and the INCLUDED grill insert allows you to place any pots to boil water and cook on. After the fun is done, cut turn off the propane at the tank and allow the propane to run completely out of the line, turning it off at the fire bowl shortly after. Place the INCLUDED lid on top and allow unit to cool fully. After unit is completely cool, fold legs, wrap the propane lane around the base and attach INCLUDED carrying straps to lock everything in place!. This lightweight unit will stow away in a deck box, cargo compartment of a fifth wheel or your trunk for any Impromptu camping trip or drum circle on the beach!As you see in the video, the heat kept me warm in 15 degree windy weather and threw the heat outwards 360 degrees allowing all that sit around it a toasty time!

The media could not be loaded.  Great gas fire pit and quite compact. Great for RV or car camping and especially useful when there are fire bans, which happen here in Colorado frequently. Has an auto ignition so all you need is a 20lb bottle of propane and you are set! You can use this to keep warm but also useful to grill although I wouldn’t use foods that may drip although it probably wouldn’t be the end of the world since the components seem to be of great quality. Brats and pots of water would be perfect! What else do you need outside of that anyway 😉. I wouldn’t hesitate on this one!

We love it and once it’s burning it’s great with plenty of heat. However I had to give 4 stars because the unit had a problem with staying lit. If I held the control knob in for a couple minutes it would stay burning most of the time but that’s not how it’s designed.I contacted Bluu customer service rep Daniel K who was wonderful and helpful. He walked me through all the steps for returning the faulty fire pit AND is sending us a brand new one. Hopefully it will problem free as we really enjoyed the ease of use, portability and heat output of this unit. Hat’s off to great customer care.Mike S.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for a portable gas grill for quite a while, but without much urgency. Recently we moved in Colorado, where we now have hundreds of camping options and I started to look for one again. I already have a portable BLUU gas stove for backpacking, which is great and never failed. so it was no brainier to give a shot to their portable gas pit/grill. And OMG - I can't be happier. It's super nicely built, and feels more expensive than it's actually is (same was with the portable gas stove from BLUU). It comes with volcano stones (few different sizes), grill (for cooking and heating), a cover and a strap to carry it around. It's fairly light, so I could lift it with one hand. I think we will use it not just for camping, but on our patio too, to gather with with friends or even do some Korean BBQ. If you're looking for a portable gas fire pit + grill - try it out!

Comes with a ten foot propane hose and regulator. Piezo fire starter built in and adjustable flame. Grill top for cooking in pot pan or kettle. Cover and carry strap included. One thing I REALLY liked about bluu products are their thoughtful design and including everything you need. Well done once again bluu team! Highly recommend!!! LOVE it!!! Get one! You won’t regret it.
