Don't let this game pass you by
I so nearly didn't buy this game due to the poor quality of Assasins creed games post black flag. However i liked the sound of egyptian times and liked what i saw on youtube. Geaphics are amazing its like playing uncharted in open world. The gameplay is smooth the freerunning is faultless the combat system is awesome - tools on game could of been more interesting but the bow and arrow is awesome. Leveling system works for this game. Main story really good and in depth(nearly witcher standard) side missions best ive seen on any game, I applaude the developers and story makers for this. A must buy game!

Brilliant book
Perfect for my collection. Great Condition. Arrived as Expected.Great read for Assassins Creed fans. Really helps fill out the timeline and answer a few questions from the games and really expands the game story.

Desert Oath
Desert Oath follows the story of Bayek of Siwa and how he becomes a Medjay. Having played the game Assassins Creed Origins I thought this book did a good job of expanding the story line and exploring the Medjay and Order of Ancients which are the precursors to the Assassins and Templars. I’ve marked down this book by 1 star as I noticed a couple of typos... one of which confused the narrative.

Another great read.
Once again Bowden has delivered an excellent insight into the characters of Assassins Creed. The story of Hayek becoming a medjay is one you will want to read if you like the game.

Loved it from start to finish, couldn't put it down.
Once i completed the Assassin's Creed Origins, i was super disappointed with the ending what happened with Bayek & Aya.But wanted to know more of the back story to fill a lot of holes in story, this was a brilliant prequel story, loved it!

Desert Oath
I do love this book although it did take me quite a while to get into it. It seems a different style of writing to the other Assassin books even though written by the same author the excellent Oliver Bowden.

Whilst giving some background to the main characters in Assassins ...
Whilst giving some background to the main characters in Assassins Creed: Origins, the book does not give much explanation of what a Medway is and how they really differ from any other soldier or guard. The book lacks for me details of what sets people following the Medway way of life from anyone else in terms of skills, weaponry, attitudes to life and values.

Gd book over assassin lover out there !!
Am a big fan of assassin creed franchise .. although am a book head ..somehow ..I found it bit difficult to understand at the beginning but as chapters passed by the suspense and story went quite smooth for me ..Ofc its not recommended for someone who is just new into the novel world ...but the story the vocab used here is quite amazing ..I liked the cover anyhow looked like I ordered a book beyond 600-700/- ...pages quality was good ..ofc the story was gripping but during the beginning I found it bit difficult to visualise it but once you are in flow ..the story gets amazing !!!

Old AC fan. First AC novel indulgence.
I don’t know why didn’t I read AC books before...Besides finishing the game and purchasing DLC’s, it adds some nice little details to the building of the characters, setting, story, etc. I felt it makes it more immersive that you have this backstory in your head, as you roam the open world of ancient Egypt(SPOILER ALERT)Such as when I roam the outskirts of Siwa, I cant Help but remember when Bayek and Aya would practice their swordmanship and duel one another; and other ‘Ways of the Medjay’ Bayek would teach Aya. Not to mention, in the desert, I would imagine where Bayek would practice snd learn to be a Medjay under his father’s hand. Eventually gaining the official Medjay badge from his father before Bion would shower them with his arrows.(END OF SPOILER)Besides the immersive connection between the novel and the actual game, I became a fan of Bowden’s style of writing. Whenever I say “I’ll just reach chapter 11 and stop for today” I find myself dragged to chapter 20! He keeps you hooked to the book, and really makes you want to know what’s next. Especially when he swithces the prespective of different characters between chapters. You want to know what will happen to character A, but you need to finish switching to character B first. In short, great book, especially if you’re playing the game before/after reading the book. Not to metion, the style of writing will keep you hooked!Looking forward to the next AC title, and novel!
